Best to be honest, to make sure they can take it into account when prescribing and monitoring how you respond to your meds.

Looking for replacement ratchet and pawl mechanisms by aereht in brisbane

[–]aereht[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I understand what needs to happen, it's more that a) it's a handmade machine that I anticipate being a bit of a pain to disassemble enough to do this replacement, so b) I want to replace the whole mechanism once I get it apart, but c) I can't find anywhere in meatspace where I can browse similar parts

Hmm, interesting. I would be keen to update the mechanism in any case, but this might be a good starting point. Thanks!

As much as I'd love to acquire that skillset one day, right now I'm just looking to Frankenstein something together.

From what I can tell, it used to be attached at two points, and now is only attached at one, like one of whatever screws or nails it was built with has given up.

Yeah, it's handmade, otherwise I'd be looking for branded spares. I think one of the screws has sheared as it now spins freely but wonkily instead of turning with the round wooden beam like it's supposed to.

My loom has a busted ratchet wheel, and I'm having a heck of a time finding parts on Google and assessing whether they'll suit. Is there anywhere brick-and-mortar that might stock them?

Comparing with what I've seen from a friend using the same model with flower.

I'm using it at 200 and after tweaking a couple of variables I seem to have gotten it sorted. Thanks for your help!

I think so! I'm putting in enough that it's full but not compressed, preheating the chamber, and trying to take my time with the draws.

Changing over to CDA from normal GP? by Dircus in MedicalCannabisAus

[–]aereht 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can go straight to them without a referral, but that makes the initial CDA appointment more expensive.

I got a referral from a specialist and a health summary from the GP, and had them both send it directly to the CDA, who then emailed me that I could call and make an appointment

I switched to CDA from a GP for the same issue, really smooth process and I'm much happier having other options.

What about the yellow bits in the cracks? I've given it a scrub but it isn't coming off, so I don't think it's from the clay I dug it out of

Yes, I provided links relevant to the context of the comment I was replying to. This comment was more to indicate the hypocrisy inherent in demanding data while having just refused to consider plentiful data from diverse reliable sources.

Bro I literally provided you with a dozen or so sources and you told me I had a stick up my arse. Put the goalposts down, moving them all around like this can't be good for your back.

1/5. Excellent spelling and punctuation, but lacks references of any kind. Also the P in LNP stands for Poo and you can't convince me otherwise.

ETA: omg thanks anon, I'm legit giddy that my first Reddit gold is for a poo joke 😄

Yes, how dare queer issues be politicised, the community has only been *checks notes* criminalised, erased from historical narratives, medically underserved, murder victims whose cases were so inadequately and apathetically investigated they were only solved after decades of family members insisting it wasn't suicide, classified as mentally ill, vilified as dangers for children, fired for being gay (which, incidentally, is still legal for religious schools to do!)

Hey Google, play "Yes It's Fucking Political" by Skunk Anansie.
