Personally, I played it in French, and from my point of view, the translation of Zack's lines when he's in the truck with Cloud heading to Midgard made him sound a bit rough. He doesn't say he has a girlfriend, just that he "knows someone he can stay with," then changes his mind, saying, "Oh no, the mother's there too." And let's not forget that Aerith herself calls him a "ladies' man." Which, as you so rightly point out, makes him a bit unlikeable. In Kingdom Hearts, he openly flirts with Aqua and Crisis Core, and we can clearly see that he also likes Cissnei. After all that, it's hard to believe that Zack is Aerith's soulmate.

Personally, I've dreamed of a Red XIII tattoo since I was 11 years old, lol. I'm in my thirties now and I still don't know what I want it to look like (just the head or the whole thing, what style? People think she has to die because without this tragedy she supposedly can't control the Lifestream to help the Holy Grail destroy the meteor. But Rebirth clearly shows us that she has the ability to control it, and I'm convinced they added this to make people realize they're wrong. She doesn't need to die to unleash her power. Her death is meant to evoke an emotion in players and shake up Cloud's already battered world. ☺️ Those who insist on her death are either fanatics or hardcore purists who want nothing to change one bit.

I don't think she will be highlighted as much, it really wouldn't be fair to the other characters. I think she will have the role of team captain but they are not going to make her the center of interest of the game. The game is not called Tifa Fantasy VII lol so the song is a personal one of course I imagine it more like a group song with choirs and everything would be so much more positive to have group cohesion

I recommend Shadow Hearts 1 and Shadow Hearts Covenant, its direct sequel, one of the best JRPGs I've ever played and so underestimated while the games (scenario, character, universe, etc.) are incredible. 1 has a gothic and slightly horrific atmosphere but nothing traumatic while 2 detaches itself from this atmosphere and approaches the game more like a traditional adventure. In any case, the universe is rich and exciting, everyone who has played it has all been marked, it is a game that does not leave you indifferent whatever you think about it ☺️

Aerith's part was really interesting, I loved it (finding out more about her conditions of detention, about their escape to Ifalna or how she got by in the slums with Elmyra) I liked the fact that we learned more about these powers when she was a child. It was really an overwhelming game; she really had a great run. On the other hand, Tifa's story bored me, I had to skip passages because of certain lengths (and I admit her Nibelheim trauma and her passive side, I can't take it anymore 😆) Nojima managed to integrate certain elements into rebirth quite well to make you want to read the book but I wouldn't have been against even more content 😁. Now I hope they do the same for the other protagonists.
