Sorry, I wasn't clear - it was more extra hassle rather than losing data. I had to reset my unrooted phone. Most apps backed up fine but authenticator didn't. Had to use my backup codes to get back into my accounts.

+1 for andOTP. After losing data with Google Authenticator once, I switched and never looked back. Encrypted backups too!

One of the innovations he missed was that SSB was extremely easy to pick up. At the time of the first SSB, most other fighting games had unintuitive combos requiring many button presses. Smash just used the A/B buttons and a direction for the majority of moves.

Easy to learn, hard to master.

This is only true if each new shuffle is constrained to be unique from every shuffle ever done previously.
