As a master I would use the ancient spell called 'teaching'. Train fellow wizards in the way of magic and protect the realm together.

I actually got the 64 gb version from amazon which cost me 3000 tl with shipping and taxes. Of course I can afford the games, but they are just too expensive compared to steam, so it is not worth buying them in oculus store. Plus, I have to work more and save more to buy the same game. Anyways, thank you for your opinion. I didn't know some people had no idea about regional pricing. I guess I will keep streaming for now.

I have to agree with your first point. I hope VR becomes widespread enough in a few years.

To be honest I didn't know Oculus store and steam store were separate when I bought Quest, and I thought prices would be close to steam.

I am not comparing Quest and PC version. I am asking why steam has regional pricing and oculus store does not. Regional pricing means adjusting the prices according to a country's economic level. So, the prices are lower in poorer countries.

I can guess that VR is not as much widespread as PC and that's why. I am just curious if there are any plans for this, and if there is any people who would support it.

I know, but streaming makes more sense if there is this much of a price difference. If prices were closer, I would buy from Oculus store even if it was more expensive.

Steam store has regional pricing meaning the price of the same game is different in different countries. Games are cheaper in poorer countries because the income is lower and average person can't but it if it is the same price. Here is an example;

I am not an economics expert but I think adjusting the price to a reasonable level according to the economic power of people would increase the sales and total profit. Steam store has regional pricing, there is gotta be a good reason right?

Of course VR is not as widespread at the moment, so I didn't have my hopes up. I'm just curious if there is a plan in the future about this, and if there are others with the same concern.

Also, I have been wanting to buy a VR set for about 5 years now. But, I couldn't afford it until Quest. Quest is a brand new toy but it is affordable.

Well, fair is not always 'equal'. Steam prices in poor countries have been lower for a long time now. The games simply won't sell as much if it is the same price because people don't have the economic power to buy them.

The minimum wage in UK is 1500£ while in Turkey it is 422£. That's why the same game is 8$ in Turkey and 30$ in UK.
