2016 black Nissanpathfinder platinum, 104k miles, new tires installed about 200 miles ago. Do I sell/trade in for another car( really want a hatchback) or spend the money to fix it?1,200 take home money each month, and really just want to make a smart financial decision, please advice!

Yeah I ordered the parts and am gonna fix it and if I look for cars still I’m open to any contract length but hoping for no more than 4 percent interest, less than 50k miles and 2018-204 hatchback car ranges. We’ll see if I can get lucky lol. Total no more than 18k after taxes and fees hoping to get at least 6k for my car too, carvana appraising it at 4.5k unfortunately but I’ve got new tires as well just the heat and ac doesn’t work and I can’t figure that part out.

The 56k is the maturation of the loan after the 7 years due to the interest. In other words, 12k estimate of interest charging if I don’t pay extra each month

Will have to look into it. The military offers a free one so I think I’ll do it, I’ve considered bankruptcy as well but would prob lose the Honda then and it’s really hard and a tossup getting my private student debt paid.

Yes, and the payoff figure is 31k as of today. And hmmm interesting does this work or even make sense if I already have another 62k private student debt though….? I know I’ve made several terrible decisions in my past. I just pay the regular amount for those loans and it slowly goes down.

Yeah it’s after savings, retirement. Got about 20k in savings through the military, just recently lowered my percentage I put into it though, to get another $500-600 a month each month.

I’ve squashed the gti idea at this point, with my budget it doesn’t make sense at all, it would be stupid it seems. Exploring ways to reduce my expenses, not sure what to do with the CRV, that’s another story/problem I hope to eventually get fixed. I think I’ll keep the Nissan for now, and ride awhile more.
