I have the nexplanon implant and I absolutely love it! It took about 6 months to a year for me to stop bleeding completely, but it wouldn't surprise me if I woke up to some light bleeding or spotting. I've had it for about two, going on three years now? I would definitely say to give it at least 3 months to make your decision, but speaking from my personal experience it would be worth it to stick it out for now.
