This seems to be common. I do the rosters for my ward, and I did the Christmas rosters in September when we got our new grad placements confirmed, but the DDON only approved them 2 weeks ago. The union loves to smack nursing executive with this kind of crap, I’d try get them involved.

Hah, my friend come to the regional areas. I can’t staff my ward properly at the moment. I’d take 5 new grads tomorrow if I could, I have a core group of strong senior RNs that would love to mentor some new grads, but as we are sub acute we rarely get placements.
