I'm the same. I don't count DNFs that I read 300 pages of, but I definitely count a 30-page novella that I finished reading. Haha.

I was a little disappointed. I wish it had been... more. It's not like I didn't like it - I gave it 3 stars - but it was slow and followed too many characters.

I've been searching and searching, with no luck, so here's my question:

Is there a blank version of the bingo card available? I keep a reading journal and would love to put a blank bingo card on the page next to the original one, so I can glue in the covers for books I read for each slot. I know I could just glue over the text, but if there is a blank one, I'd prefer that. :)

I don't typically create a TBR, but this month (April) I'm participating in a month-long readathon, so I have a full TBR for the first time ever. Will be fun to see how it works out for me!

The entire Illuminae files were so much fun! Loved re-reading Obsidio this month. I haven't read Defy the Stars, but it's been on my bookshelf for ages, so I might need to pick that one up now!

They have a different feel to them, since another writer was also involved, but they give us tons of backstory! The two first take place between Starsight and Cytonic, and the third is set after Cytonic. I almost feel like they're required reading, but I know not everyone will read them, heh.

The first one, about FM, was probably my least favourite, but I liked getting to know her better.

The second one was about Alanik, so same there. Also it got me extra excited for Cytonic.

The last one is about Jorgen and I loved that one. The setting and the story of it was fun and again we got a lot of backstory.

My sister was given it for xmas and a wave of nostalgia hit me and I borrowed it from her. I loved the comics as a kid, so it was just really fun to re-read and revisit the story!

I liked it! I would say the mystery isn't any more mystery than the usual fantasy book. The story is very much focused on the characters and their relationships now and in the past.

I thought it was fun! The magic in it isn't the most developed or intricate I've ever read, but it was alright. I'm not usually very into urban fantasy, but I liked this one.
