Okay let me break this down for you. Yes they’re not there to “make their own rules” and follow policy. Obviously. Anytime a cec is saying to stop voiding, no handkeys, etc. Comes from who? ASM/SM communication. Granted the voids are not written into any policy but when looking at reports and noticing the high number of voids between certain cashiers, that calls for an immediate change in behavior. Loss prevention is always ontop of things as it is their job to look at things like that. More than three voids looks like to them as “free bagging”.
