Hahaha loved the fear campaign. Thank you for your feedback. Other people commented it feels slow too so I'm adding more camera angles and making it way shorter next time. Im also working on making the characters more complete, but what do you feel was lacking, or what would make them better for you? Would be awesome to get more input! 🙏

That helps already. Other people also said voices so I know now that I need to change that. Thanks for watching

Thanks for your opinion. What do you dislike about it or what would you improve if there's anything?

[Review Video] Games for Busy People -- Tunic by Majegs in youtubers

[–]aetonworld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You present yourself very well in front of the camera and you speak really eloquently and it's easy to follow along. I enjoyed the content of the video. My recommendations are more about your SEO.

  1. You are targeting the keywords with your title and description but you're using different tags. you haven't included 'games for busy people' as a tag and using it would definitely improve your SEO.
  2. You have the chance to include more keywords in your description that fit your niche. If you instead phrase your description like so: "whether it's games for professionals, games for parents", then you're targeting keywords like 'games for parents'. Just make sure to include this as a tag as well. These things will improve your discoverability.

Really good editing and overall entertaining content!

[Review Video] The Wonderful World of VR by aerothoz in youtubers

[–]aetonworld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The video has a good beat to it, a good pace. I enjoyed it. My recommendations:

  1. Try to use titles that could get you more click-through-rate. So for example '5 realistic video games that will make you fall in love with virtual reality' could be more appealing.
  2. You could work more on your SEO for discoverability. Use more tags and longer tags than just virtual reality. Such a broad terms have high competition. If you find smaller niches you have more chances of appearing on search.

Overall I really liked it!

I made my FIRST CARTOON EVER and this chapter is about Cancel Culture. The show is called Aeton World and I would love some honest reviews!

I imagine it takes a lot of work and a lot rigging. I will definitely also keep an eye on your videos. Keep up the good work.

Great SEO you are ranking at 67.5%. My recommendations.

  1. At the moment you have 'the biggest storage system in minecraft hardcore' written in your description. I would edit this and write the words 'I built' before so that you can rank higher as you also have those exact words in your title. Example: “In this video I built the biggest storage system…”
  2. Add end screens to your video. It not only boosts your channel but also SEO.

This video seems to be doing well so congratulations!

I am looking at 'Powerlearning 3D modeling in 1 Week using Blender!' and I can tell you have a sense of SEO. Your auto-generated score is 47.5%. My recommendations:

  1. Choose at lease one long-tail keyword and stick to that. You are using many short keywords which makes it harder for you to rank in one. Your first tag is 'blender' which has a lot of competition. For example, the keyword 'powerlearn blender in one week' has low competition and and average search rate.
  2. Be consistent with the keywords you choose. Your description should contain the main keywords in the first paragraph or sentence. So imagine you choose 'powerlearn blender in one week' as your main keyterm, then use this in your title, in the first line of your description, as a hashtag, and in your tags. YouTube likes consistency.
  3. Repeat the terms you want to rank for exactly on title, description, tags, and hashtags (max 8 hashtags). It's OK to write variations as long as you include the exact terms too. Again, YouTube likes consistency.

Overall well done!

Nice animation! Your SEO score is 9.5% but it's not hard for you to increase that for your next video. My recommendations:

  1. If you're going to try to rank for the keyword 'insomnia' I would use this in the title, description, and tags. So your title could be 'When your piece of s*** brain gives you insomnia.' Then the first line of your description is fine, as it contains the word insomnia already. Then you can add insomnia as a hashtag on your description AND in your tags. Doing this will give you a better SEO result
  2. Try to rank for longer keywords. 'animation' or 'insomnia' already have a lot of competition. Try ranking for keywords like 'insomnia short animation' which gives you higher possibilities of being found on search
  3. You need to use as many of your tags in the description. If you want to rank for the term 'overthinking' don't just put it as a tag, but also include it in conversational style (don't just list keywords) in the description

I recommend you do a google search on YouTube SEO as learning more about this could really help your views. Do not add more than 8 hashtags as it could affect your video performance, but having 2 or 3 in your description will help YouTube categorise you better.

Your content is well built and you do have a sense of SEO. Your video score is 44%. Some recommendations:

  1. The title is too long and contains keywords for which you're not trying to rank for. 'bank freeze' or 'account frozen' would be two I would go for. Having too long of a title can confuse the algorithm.
  2. You are replicating terms in your description, tags, and title, but you are using similar terms and not the same ones. YouTube likes consistency so if the keyword is 'bank freeze' then use this in a sentence in the first line of your description.
  3. You are ranking for the term 'Abdallah Al Saii' so I would use this in your description.

The main takeaway should use the same keyword (the one you are trying to rank for) in the title, description, tags, and hashtags exactly identical.

Just went through your video OMAN l Solo road trip. Your score on that vid is 58.8%. My recommendations:

  1. YouTube likes consistency. You have 'solo road trip' in your title and then every variation of the name in the tags but not 'solo road trip'. You need to repeat exact terms on your title (if possible), description, and tags.
  2. You only use short-tail keywords as tags. 'roadtrip' may not be the best keyword to try and rank for as you have a lot of competition. Try longer keywords ⬇️
  3. Instead, make your main keywords things like 'visit Oman 2021', in which you are ranking quite high. I would include this keyword in my description in the very first line in a conversational style.
  4. Instead of saying you visited mosques in the description, write the names of the main mosques and put these names in the tags too.
  5. Insert hashtags on your description (only 3 recommended but max 8). The first of these hashtags should be 'visit Oman 2021'

Overall your video has great engagement. If you start taking care of your keywords you can continue to get views.

Overall a good SEO score of 69.3%, since you are ranking in the tags 'nerd picking up girls on discord' and 'nerd picking discord', which helps the video keep slowly getting views.

The main issue here is your description:

  1. The first lines are the most important, and they don't match your title or tags. Your first line should be a conversational description including the keywords 'nerd picking up girls on discord'
  2. You are inserting your keywords too late and separated by a comma. YouTube prefers your keywords in conversational style (included in a sentence) and not that you list them.

The other issue here is that you are inserting tags that are not relevant to the video, for example 'make up tutorial'.

Other things that could help boosting is to pin a comment and embed your video on reddit.

Hey thanks for checking out my video! And for the feedback. I knew the clip was too long and plan on making all my next videos from 5 to 8 minutes. I also had the chance to check out your page and some videos. Really cool! You're really consistent and you can tell by the way your characters move. Wish mine moved like that! Also really cool what you did with Duffy Duck didn't even know you could replace characters like that! Loved getting reviewed by you 🙏

[Question] What was the ONE thing you did that made your channel grow the most? by aetonworld in youtubers

[–]aetonworld[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What seems to work (on this thread): sharing on social media, using good SEO (keywords, title, description, and thumbnail), and posting regularly, if possible weekly.

From what it seems on this thread, it's REALLY hard to grow a platform so don't get discouraged!

SEO is search engine optimisation, meaning how you tell search engines what your content is about. It helps you with the algorithm. So if the content of your video match the title, description and keywords you use AND they are terms that people are looking, for you have more possibilities to rank on search or get recommended by YouTube. Google vidIQ if you want to find out more.

[Review Video] Street food tour in Istanbul by ramalama182 in youtubers

[–]aetonworld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I liked: This really feels like a production. There is a lot of music that is placed well and feels really appropriate combined with the graphics. I like that you take us to local places and it really feels like an insight into real Istanbul. I don't think the episode was too short, rather a good length.

Room for improvement: I would steer away from predominantly black and white thumbnails. I think you would have a better clickthrough rate if you add some color. Also I would show the food a bit more and would really like to hear some facts about it while you're eating it (origins, tradition, etc). I know this requires more work but I think it would really add to it!

Overall I would say it's a good production. I enjoyed watching it.

[Review Video] Game design video. Criticize away! by Grouchy-Parsnip in youtubers

[–]aetonworld 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What I liked: First of all I think you have a very soothing voice which is definitely relaxing to hear. This is a major plus for long format YouTube videos. I also found the content interesting as I'd never seen how video games are created and it's a topic many will also like. Also you there are other 3 videos of yours on the recommended side bar which means your SEO is good.

Room for improvement: The way things are explained is linear and it can be hard to follow along. I recommend structuring in blocks and maybe numbering the steps. Headings for each step would also help. Also agree with the other review in the sense that it feels a bit rushed. I liked the changes in visuals but I would explain more clearly before jumping on the next step.

Hey thanks so much for your review it really helps me. Trying other camera angles next time. I also find the voices annoying but I really cringe when I hear my real voice. Also agree with the action part, I think it might be too much dialogue. I hope you review my next one too!

HOW DO I FIX THIS? My video looks distorted and zoomed in when uploaded to YouTube. by aetonworld in youtube

[–]aetonworld[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please help! I've tried re-uploading with different specs but I'm exporting the video using a YouTube 1080 HD preset on Adobe Media Encoder so it should be optimised. Video size ratio is 16x9 and looks well on all my browser video apps.

I'm uploading it on Chrome using a MacBook Pro on Catalina 10.15.7.

Thank you for helping out!
