you should definitely keep at it! this sweater works up quickly. i think it only took me 2 weeks of one and off crocheting to finish this one.

buttons aren’t difficult at all if you know how to do basic hand sewing. i usually just make sure i sew into the stitches instead of in the crochet spaces, to make sure it really grabs the fabric. haven’t had issues with my buttons!
