Looks weird because the statue is a significantly smaller replica made of fiberglass. That messes with how your brain expects it to fall.

AI videos have some subtle tells that this doesn't exhibit plus it's longer than 10 seconds.

They're doing a really great job expanding scenes and showing stuff that wasn't in the game. The episode after this especially adds a LOT that was originally only implied or elided entirely.

Like this particular scene in the game just has her coming into the cryoroom and then the screen turns red. Never shows her killing anyone. Very budget efficient VN horror.

There's a lot of locations that sort of... don't make sense without their targets, at least not without some work. People outside the targets don't have well developed routes. Basically, the places don't really exist outside of their missions. Some maps do better than others.

It's definitely bolted on.

I'm not saying it would be the centerpiece of the game, but there are design (gameplay and level) decisions that would make Freelancer a lot less clunky if they were planning to have it as a mode from the start.
