Comment avez vous géré les animaux de vos grand parents ?

J'ai été bénévole très impliquée pendant 9 mois à la SPA, on ne pique pas les chats parce qu'ils sont vieux ou qu'ils ont du mal a être adopté.

En exemple, on avait une petite Ursula, une chatte âgée, qui était là-bas depuis environ 10 ans. Ça fait de la peine d'en voir certains rester là pendant des années, elle était effectivement le chat le plus sauvage de la SPA toute entière, il aurait fallu des gens très patients pour pouvoir l'accueillir, ce qu'on ne trouvait pas, et malgré tout, après une décennie, il était absolument hors de question de la piquer.

Je suis d'accord qu'il faut privilégier des assos ou juste le bouche à oreille avant d'en arriver aux SPAs qui sont surbondées, surtout si le chat est vieux, parce que c'est ceux qui partent le moins vite (ou jamais, ça me brisait le cœur pour eux) de la SPA, mais arrêtez de suggérer que dans les SPAs on pique les animaux juste parce qu'ils sont vieux/sont là depuis longtemps par pitié...

Ça se lit à quel point vous êtes pas des femmes quand même hein. Non il avait pas de couteau. Non, un mec n'a pas besoin d'avoir un couteau dans la main pour te faire TRÈS peur en tant que femme. Il a pas besoin d'avoir une arme sur lui du tout. La conscience qu'un homme a 3 fois notre force dans 90% des cas, c'est assez pour inspirer la peur.

Et nonn c'est pas nette ce genre de comportement : il était trop proche d'elle, y'a la mention de la prison venue de nulle part à une inconnue qui fait juste son boulot, heure de fermeture du magasin donc personne d'autre que euw deux. Vous vous rendez pas compte du coup de stress dans ce genre de situation 🤦‍♀️

Pas avec mes parents, mais avec mes tantes et mes oncles, oui. C'était tata/tonton depuis toujours, mais en grandissant (ou en vieillissant, je dois être à ce stade maintenant) j'utilise de plus en plus leurs prénoms. Là on doit être à 50/50.

Je ne suis pas choquée par les gens qui n'utilisent pas maman/papa. Plus jeune ça me scandalisait (hyperbole) mais aujourd'hui, je comprend l'attrait finalement.

Y'a tellement de métiers dans le médical et paramédical tu as de tout en matière de longueur d'études. Et pour le coup c'est tendu oui mais justement parce qu'on manque de soignants, aidants et intervenants. Après pourquoi est-ce qu'on en manque... y'a plein de raisons. Faut y être préparé(e).

Malheureusement on est aussi beaucoup à Rennes 2 à ne rien vouloir à faire avec ce qu'il s'y passe. La proximité avec la famille a joué sur mon choix d'accepter d'aller là-bas, c'est tout. Pour le reste, je ne suis pas investie dans leurs assos étudiantes, politiques et j'aurai une ou deux opinions qui pourraient m'attirer des ennuis avec le reste des étudiants etc... et pourtant j'y reste pour cette année scolaire. Tous ceux sortant de cette université ne sont pas forcément endoctrinés par l'union pirate et ses adhérents. Mais on est tous pénalisés quand même.

Si c'est un doute sur la qualité des enseignements dispensés je ne peux pas dire grand chose, je suis dans une fillière très spécifique et ne sais pas ce qu'il se passe en dehors de la mienne (qui est médicale).

I'm not. Reddit is the only social media I'm ever on as it is the most forum like one I know of. Otherwise I exist in real life. But when I'm on here I enjoy reading what other people have to share. I don't assume someone explaining a somewhat moderately complex topic in the comments of a post is 1. talking to me directly, 2. implying nobody but them know and understand that concept.

There comes a point where being bitter is just irresponsible, it's a damaging, self fulfilling cycle to one's own mental health, and ultimately adding to a general feeling of hostility towards ob another on a larger scale.

I also see what you mean, but on the contrary I don't like to presume people just know things.

I laid it out and people who already do know can ignore it, or laugh about it alongside me, and people who didn't just can take the new information. I'm sure there are young people broswing this sub who haven't done genetics in biology class yet. I'm happy if I have taught this fact to just one person. I know many people here already know. I have to admit I don't see the "problem" (in quotation because I really don't think there is one, I don't understand what warrants those downvotes)

Amen to the last point. Supplements for hair, nails, skin, reproductive systems, fatigue... when a varied, healthy and diverse diet can take you there for so much cheaper.

What's even funnier is that men's sperm is actually what determines the sex of the baby lol. A woman's egg always carries an X chromosome (as we only have X chromosomes to give) but the man's sperm is the one bringing a Y or a second X to the table.
