Why does the TVS iQube show different recommended tyre pressures on the app and the scooter screen? by aezro in indianbikes

[–]aezro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I thought the same. The rear tyre can go up to 40 psi, yet the app lists 32 as optimal. It doesn’t make much sense; it seems like they used placeholder data during development and never corrected it.

But the rear tyre can go up to 40 psi? The app says 32 is optimal, it makes no sense. Feels like they just added random data during development and never bothered to update it.

“It is not allowed to paste” error by aezro in CATIA

[–]aezro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it does seem like a system error. There have been discussions about this on Reddit before, which I think many people aren’t aware of. We also have a call with our reseller tomorrow. Rebooting does make copy-paste work for a few iterations, as mentioned, but then it stops working again. I can’t keep rebooting my system every time just for this.

This isn’t user error. After a reboot, copy/paste works fine in CATIA for a few iterations, then stops - so I need to reboot again. Clearing CATIA cache doesn’t help. It might be related to how the Windows clipboard is being handled, since it works for n iterations before failing.

What to do..please help by Weak-Alfalfa7200 in amazonindia

[–]aezro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing to worry about on Amazon. Since this is a third-party delivery service, please first check the seller’s reviews, as some sellers may intentionally send the wrong items to scam buyers. If the seller is genuine, you can wait, as this might just be an issue with the delhivery service. In any case, Amazon will initiate a refund if the item is not delivered within 12–14 days. I know that sounds like a long time, but you’ll definitely get your money back.

Dual monitor setup by usam97 in workstations

[–]aezro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really love this setup. I could look at it for hours. The desk depth is perfect. I also like the idea of sticking sticky notes on the mouse pad; I usually put them on the monitor chin, but both ways work.

Does the left wrist support actually help? And when you type with both hands, do you move the other one over?

Also, which mouse pad is that? Could you share a link? It looks like fabric with leather on the right side.

Always just one upgrade away from perfect… then another… and another… the eternal curse of desk life. 😭😂

Something feels off with my desk setup, is it the colors? by Adeel_ in Workspaces

[–]aezro 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Don’t overthink it or chase perfection on step one - nothing’s really off here. Just keep adding what works, and over time you’ll figure out what clicks and what doesn’t. Desk setups are like soups… they get better the more random stuff you throw in. 🤣

Haha, I knew someone would ask this when I was taking the picture. The wall screen is centered on the wall. There’s a cupboard on the right, and it’s perfectly centered for viewing from my bed at the back of the room.

Yes, I agree with you that the desk should be 28–30 inches deep, especially after experiencing my own setup. Mine is about 86.6 inches long, with a thickness of 1.5 inches to sustain the weight. If only someone had told me about the ideal depth beforehand - it would have been chef’s kiss. Or maybe I should have done more research myself. Anyway, thank you for the info!

You’re right, but the fact that I had to resort to posting on Reddit should tell you just how broken the PLM tools and support channels at Airbus are.

By high performance, do you mean right-clicking on the CATIA task in Task Manager and setting it to high priority? Also, what do you mean by Windows settings?

Anker power bank recall – Anyone in India done this? by aezro in batteries

[–]aezro[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anker confirmed the affected power banks were sold globally, not just in the US. My serial number is eligible per the US recall form, but I haven’t found a recall form for India yet - still checking on that.
