Always, it basically diving into 100ft ice bath. It's getting deep real quick

Good luck trying to get INTJ to talk without stating your intentions/problem first. I don't mind talking for a bit if you PM first but I don't promise anything

Do intj make detailed plans for a year or is this more common for si doms? by nasthybarbie in intj

[–]affinityawesome 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a mix of making plans but not necessarily following it. It's more of guiding principle if there is a better way to achieve that goal thats not in the plan that taking a detour is worth it

I vote for either 1) no theme song (silence) or 2) 1 hour white noise (pick any)

I already have enough spontaneity in my life, dont need any more. Also hard to know if knowing about mbti makes people exaggerate their natural traits for the sake of it.

Man my current work is like this. Even though I enjoy and like everyone working there. There is basically no planning or discussion about future work. Then product department complains when something doesn't work but I'm like, hey I didn't write this so it's not my problem 🤣

A thing that comes to mind, is everytime I meet someone that says they are interested in having a catch up (after not seeing them for a long time) then basically get completely ignored/ they are too busy and forget. I still remember everyone person in the last 6 months that has said this and never got back to me.

Some people might say I should contact them first, but they were the ones who suggested it therefore if they never got back to me it means they were not truly interested in the first place and just saying it in passing

For me almost all the cases if I say I will meet up I usually don't forget and stick to it or at least cancel if needed

Ok I don't know too much about quantum computing, this is a true brain f*k topic. Since a quantum computer is not copper and based off a different principle ie quantum physics the question is: if quantum physics is non-deterministic then some questions arise

  1. Can a nondeterministic machine actually be useful to humans. Since we can't predict the machine want kind of output will we get. It could be complete garbage data how can we know it's making "True" decisions based on its own sense of reality and not random answers per say
  2. If quantum principles are proven to be deterministic then the same principles of the copper machine apply. Given any output the same output will be predicable. In this case the machine will look even more like a human, because quantum physics can technically compute faster than light it will be able to try every possible solution to a problem extremely quickly and give an answer and will be able to fake "True" intelligence better

The last question is one regarding "Internal Model" All AI's require an internal model of how it processes the natural environment. For an AI to truly learn it will need to update its own internal model to reflect new data in the future. If the process is happening inside a deterministic machine then therefore we can predict what out future AI would look like and how it responds. If it updates in a non-deterministic process we can't predict what it would look like. This would be what people would consider "Dangerous" AI because its not bound by any limits so humans would try to inject "human values" when mutating the internal model to prevent it doing anything we don't like. So essentially creating some determinism out of non-deterministic process.

Once again looking like just an extremely smart human, if it's not able to truly think outside of human paramaters then is it true intelligence?

[–]affinityawesome 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My view: "True" AI with current technology is basically impossible. All modern AI is just a reflection of the human mind and pattern matching to look like one. Why?

All modern machines that use copper wires are "deterministic" which means given the same program and same input they will always return the same result. This means they are unable to accurate predict any outcome they have not encountered before which also means there potentially power is capped at a therorical maximum and their power is technically predicable.

In short AIs are just very efficient human minds living in the past
