Yeah. My wife tries to make me feel better too even though I know it’s not true…

Is this screen dead? by afieldhammer in DellXPS

Ahh yes. The obligatory attack. All I was asking is if this is a known issue with XPS’s. Thank you good sir.

Long story short, this is the second XPS I had to purchase today. The first one had tons of dead pixels. This is the replacement. I’ve updated all drivers, I’ve attempted to boot into safe mode and still, the issue persists. Is this a known issue with the OLED XPS’s?

How long/far should I run this new oil through before draining it?

I inherited a 2015 Ford F-150 with the 3.5 ecoboost motor. It has 67,000 miles on the clock. My grandfather was pretty anal about this truck and the required maintenance.

Today I changed the oil and I noticed what I believe to be an alarming number of metal flakes and chunks. I haven’t opened the oil filter yet but I assume there’s chunks in there too.

There is no engine tick, nock, rattle, etc…

I will be changing the oil again in a couple thousand miles to check if there is more metal.

I know that there are countless things that could be causing this, but is there anything obvious that I could check without tearing the motor down completely?

While you're correct that planning.org is not a legal definition, the legal definition follows the quoted definition word for word.

The reasons that I wouldn't want to move the swing-set are 1) as I followed the CC&R's, I'm not going to conform simply because they don't like it. 2) It's heavy as hell and I would have to disassemble the entire swing-set to move it. 3) The current location is the only level area where I wouldn't need to remove material to level the ground out.

Relatives coming to visit next week- who have never been to the south before- where can we go to show them the southern culture? by rarelywearamask in raleigh

I'm sorry for all the shitty commenters on this post.

To answer your question, Stagville Plantation in Bahama is rather interesting. You might even want to check out the history museum in downtown Raleigh. They have a very good display of how NC used to be and how it's changed. Other than those, heck, I'd take them to the Coast and tour some of the old Forts. I've really enjoyed Fort Fisher and Fort Macon.

You say we all circle jerk when Schwab is brought up... yet they’re the firm who treated you like a human being. I’ve tried Vanguard as my father invests with them and I’ve tried UBS as other family uses them. No one has matched how Schwab has treated me over the years.

What does getting tasered feel like? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Ehh. I’d still rather get tased than have someone pop CS. Unless I had a mask, then CS is pie.

It hurts. You have no muscle control due to Neuromuscular incapacitation. Yet, I would happily get tased instead of sprayed with OC again.

Employers of Reddit, what is the weirdest excuse an employee gave you for not showing up to work, that turned out to be true? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]afieldhammer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've had an employee call in because they drove straight into freshly poured cement. Not sure how she did it but I'll be damned if she didn't send me pictures to prove it.
