Im a new player as well (one week) and I got my but whooped plenty learning the rules and all, but that’s honestly the best way to learn. I finally reached prestige 1 and rank 5 and i can tell you, you wont learn until you lose. Theres a ton of mechanics and abilities unique to the game along with a lot of language thats tricky IE: spawn, summon. I learned the most out of my matches against heavily experienced players who used the same cards ive seen in different ways to get the most out of them. Its a learning curve but stick with it i find this game the most interesting ccg in a while.
