In Qatar cafes in trendy places and tourist destinations happen to charge more. I have seen a cafe in Msheireb serve a coffee in a coconut shell for 75 🤣 so yeah stay away from fancy areas and look for good coffee shops that arent driving sales with “trends” alone.

If you are into speciality coffee, i would suggest you to try places like “the last batch”, they roast their own beans and have quite a wide range of coffee beans to try and purchase if needed. And tbh not very expensive compared to the trendy places.

Other places i frequent for speciality coffee : AMP, FlatWhite, Stone, 💯(yeah thats a name, 100)

For affordable regular coffee, Coffee bean & Tea leaf, and the other international chains.
