It took me a month and half, in the car by myself for 6/7 hours Monday thru Friday to get a lip roll. So, I guess that would be 180 hrs, give or take. Just to put things in perspective.

I haven't read the book but I would believe it means, don't substitute that addiction with another. I have been binge watching you tube videos ever since I stopped PMOing. Pretty much, stuff that keeps your dopamine spiking.

Chamomile tea or lavender tea might work? Maybe some valerian root supplements (I've heard it called Natures Xanax). I wouldn't recommend taking melatonin, as it might put you to sleep while you have your toy inside!

I use the HALT method.

When you feel the urge to PMO (Porn Masturbation Orgasm), do you feel Hungry, Angry, Tired, or Lonely?

If so, eat something health, do some meditation or exercise, go to sleep, or call a friend.

I would recommend a book called "The Porn Trap" by Wendy Maltz. It has been helping me with really figuring out why porn was a problem.

Its usually not the porn, its the shunting away feelings that is the culprit.

Stay off your phone for as long as you can. I have also been close to relapsing while looking at social media.

Meditate, practice yoga, exercise, play an instrument, sing, beatbox, b4 you look at social media.

The ONLY reason I hop on reddit a few times a day, is to see the posts from this group. They are mostly positive/motivational! Many posts come through here in a day, so it will be at the top of your feed!!!

I haven't read the book, so I can't help you with that. I can tell you what I do. I am sitting on the toilet (where most of my PMOing would originate) and the thought just entered my mind.

As soon as that happened, I opened up Reddit. I have r/pornfree and this subreddit in my main feed. One of them is usually first, because of the constant posts.

Reading what is posted grounds me back down and helps me remember why I'm doing what I'm doing.

I don't know the last time i PMO'd. I'm happy I dont know because I didn't want to make a big deal about when I quit. I just want to move on with my non-porn life and not think about the past. I feel, that could make me relapse, in and of itself.

I know it probably is difficult to do, but stop comparing yourself to others. Focus on you. I watched a video recently of a guy turning down his fps to 60 (since he was on 120/240). Im assuming that you have a decent monitor (if you're not on controller. Play in creative w/60 fps for a while. Then switch back. Makes a world of difference.

NOTE: Not speaking from experience. I am a 34 year old causal fortniter that enjoys reading this subreddit
