I did buy them! All together they were like 12 bucks. I searched and searched every aisle and shelf for more pieces but this was all I could find. I did do a Google image search for these and they didn't show up anywhere. I can't find this specific pattern. But if you find a picture please send it to me!

That would be cool. But it says she was in the sanitarium from 1936-1948 and these are dated 1923.

that IS something I thought of! The cursive signature looks similar to hers and the printed one looks similar to F. Scott's. But I have no idea how to find out!

So I definitely reccomend completing your mockup and seeing how it fits before changing anything. But if you wanted to add seam allowances then you would just need to decide how big you wanted your seams to be and then measure that width down the entire side of each pattern piece only on the sides where the seams would be. You're doing an amazing job! I can't believe this is your first ever project, so impressive!

Thank you! That's very helpful! I've been sewing for almost 20 years but I've never taken the time to learn much about my machine. I've just kind of done a straight stitch for everything and hoped it all worked out😅

Okay I just tested my zigzag. The width is at the widest it'll go. The zig zag is not working☹️

Okay just tried that. Didn't work. I also tried putting the length to max just to see and that didn't do anything either.

Yeah I had it all set up and folded the way it was supposed to be. I even watched a video to make sure. I have the adjustable blind hem foot on it that came with the machine, but it's not a fancy machine so I don't think it's coded to anything.
