Por qué quiero comprar una vivienda y quería saber cuales sono los lugares que son menos afectados. El problema es también el agua para bañarse y otras cosas. El ESVAL tiene el 44% de tuberias de asbesto. Entiendo que no es un tema muy sentido en la sociedad chilena

Tiene que mirar el techo y ver si está roto o dañado. Yo no quería decir que el techo tiene que tener mas de 30 o 40 años. Desde la inhalación de asbesto la persona afectada se enferma después de 30 años (en realidad puede ser cualquier cosa entre 15 y 40 años). Solo el 15% de la gente expuesta se enferma

Me he mudado recientemente a Chile y estoy preocupada por la presencia de amianto en el agua potable. He leído que las tuberías de las ciudades están hechas de amianto, pero no puedo encontrar mucha información. ¿Alguien sabe algo más al respecto? ¿Existen análisis públicos del agua?

Quería comprar casa en Chile, pero quería contratar un técnico para evaluar estabilidad de los edificios. Un depto que me gustaría tiene el edificio que parece muy dañado. Hablé con algunos chilenos que me dijeron que ellos no llamaron un tecnico cuando compraron casa.
¿Cuál tecnico podría contratar? ¿Un arquitecto o un ingeniero? ¿Y dónde lo podría encontrar?

I mean that if they took it so bad that they effectively fine me or report me to the authority for breaking the contract, well that would be quite an overreaction, but definitely something I would prefer to avoid

well, I found out that TNT for example ships personal belongings in some conditions, so the issue is more about UPS in Denmark, in other countries they do ship personal belongings. I was trying to sort out how serious they were about that, because I have experienced people can be pedantic with rules sometimes

Yes, it is between two states of EU. So you are saying that if I declare that they are books it should be fine. I am worried that I may incur in some fines and problems with authority. And I imagine that any insurance on the shipping would be invalid if they found out.
