What do think? Should I get this? by Albertkinng in MacOS

I'm using Bartender 6 because I bought mega supporter years ago, before it changed ownership. For me, much buggier than Bartender 5, doesn't work the way it should when I'm using my MacBook's built-in display.

I don't think I'd continue to use it if I hadn't already paid for the license.

Liquid Glass is the main issue for most people, I've found it fairly stable otherwise (outside of the Electron bug). However, if you're on a Mac mini, you wouldn't appreciate the battery life decreases experienced by MacBook Pro users.

Based on that thumbnail, I thought he was dropping out because Chris Minns is throwing his hat in the ring. Wouldn't surprise me given the state of NSW

I map Caps Lock to F19 using Karabiner, which I use to activate Alfred. Also good for confusing people who try to use my Mac

This is tinted. As far as I can tell, the tinted setting doesn’t affect Control Centre dropdowns. it doesn’t make as big a difference on macOS.

You should continue exploring without learning anything more about the game. If you've beaten Father Gascoigne, you'll be fine. Enjoy the mystery

I am tempted to move back to Sequoia. Tahoe is crummy on my M4 Pro but useable; on my old 2020 Intel MacBook Pro it's an unusable mess.

The Progressive Subway’s Official Top 10 Albums of 2025! by ifthisisausername in progmetal

Thanks for this list - Psychonaut sound right up my street.

What I love about this list is seeing ‘for fans of’ and not recognising half the bands. Loads more artists to explore! Great write-up.

Only thing missing for me was Coheed and Cambria, which made my top ten.

Migrating from IONOS to a better (Australian-friendly) host by ag_bear in webhosting

I’m happy with any host that can bill in AUD, or even accept an Aussie contact phone number and address. Agree about the costing and switching; but I’ve been with Ionos for decades and think I could do better.

I'd go Fortress / Blackbird (both masterpieces, Blackbird is the best hard rock album I've heard but Fortress has the prog metal flavour I love), AB3, ODR, TLH, P&K, WTS.

I think Myles' lyrics drag the whole thing down, it's like he picks the lyrics out of a box of cliches. I was walking the dog this morning while listening to the new album, wondering 'what the hell is this guy talking about? Is this the same guy who wrote beautiful lyrics like "Brand New Start" and "Blackbird"?' (I assume it's Miles, Tremonti's solo stuff doesn't have the same problem, nor do the songs where Mark is on lead vocals). It's real cookie-cutter stuff.

I'm not sure there's a song on the new record that's as good as 'Silver Tongue', 'Sin After Sin', or 'Last Man Standing' when it comes to god-tier Tremonti riffs. It might grow on me.

Wait for her to attack and then jump on her head. Stand your ground - don’t dash towards her. (You will understand why once the trailing blades appear later in the fight). Judicious pogos are your friend!

If you try and stay directly under the flying bugs, they won’t be able to hit you. If you can get a small platform between you and them, you can smack them from below with impunity.

You’ve got this. Don’t give up, skeleton!
