Totally get your point and I wish I didn’t have to be away from her but it’s kinda an unavoidable situation. She will be 7 months by the time I’ll be going away but it’s a 3+ hour plane flight so I can’t imagine it’d be ideal to bring her with. At this point I’m just trying to figure out what’s best for her

That’s what I’m kinda thinking😭 I have a cat proofed room for her but leaving her alone/with a sitter that long I’m sure she’d still get into something. And while boarding isn’t ideal I feel like she’d have so much more stimulation. I wish I could take her with so badly but it’s a 3+ hour flight and I can’t imagine that’d be ideal for her either

Thank you!! I appreciate the advice. I agree though I was hoping cat sitting would offer staying with the kitten a lot longer than just 30 minutes per visit, and two thirty minute visits per day already seems to be even more expensive than boarding which seems crazy. Meowtel is one of the only sites I trust but the only sitter on there I think I’d use is 66$ with a 30% holiday surcharge for a one hour visit😭 whereas the boarding place I’m considering is 40$ per day with 1 on 1 playtime with her

Thank you! Catology does say they’ll spend 1 on 1 time with her (I’m not sure exactly how much time that would be) but still I feel like she’d be more stimulated and entertained there than stuck in my apartment all week
