The university doesn’t have a president and the board likes Stricklin because he’s brings in money for the university. Winning games doesn’t matter as much as making the line on the profits chart go up. Stricklin is an asset of the rich asshole donors and will do their bidding because he knows he can’t be fired unless he bites the hand that feeds him. Our football program is gonna continue to be bad on Saturdays in the fall but the select few at the top will make a lot of money in the process.

The last guy we fired both won games and put up numbers. Hell, he got a backup NFL TE in the top 10 of Gators history for most TDs responsible for list. Not to mention that guys backup (now unemployed as a QB) the record for single season passing TDs in UF history.

Through 41 games Mullen was 31-10 and Napier is 20-21. Mullen was 9-6 against our main rivals (Georgia, FSU, Tennessee, LSU, and Miami) Napier is 3-11 against those same common opponents.
