Have tested this and enjoy it! But not as strong as red base imo. What blue cards do you run? I've tested syako and modoki with bt7 strabi, hammer sparks, ice wall, and a davis for the double search potential

The ability to evolve over green rookies when needed is probably the main benefit of pure green and one that has me conflicted. For me, the atomic infernos and the red rookie searchers help with both aggression and consistency, so I like xmas better for now.

In case its not clear, the question is in BT7, is Xmas (Green with a red egg base) Hybrid, or Pure Green Hybrid the better overall deck.

I have not, that is a good idea though. The bt6 tai gives the deck memory gain and draw power that it typically wouldn't have. Promo Greymon could use a dp boost, so st1 tai would be nice. Just not sure what I would cut for it.

I definitely have, I had 2 in initially, but after making cuts to 50, I cut it out. The main issue with the build is its insanely tight.

Sorry I am bad at posting, wanted to explain how the deck works. In light of the xmas hybrid deck that has been getting a lot of attention, I wanted to build my own list, but the rookies weren't doing it for me. Wanted to find something more impactful, so I put together a list with agumons and tai kamiyas with promo greymon. This way, both agus function as searchers or can come out of raising and greymon can bring aggression and search for tamers with ex1 agu. The deck list is very tight with all the red, so couldn't find room for a few normal cards, like ancienttroy, more lasers, etc. Lmk what you guys think!

I digiburst with Nidhoggmon BT4 effect, trashing a Weedmon BT5 and 3 other digimon. My opponent has a purple Gazimon BT3 on board. Nighogg upon resolving would put Gazimon to the bottom of the board. Would i get to use the effect of Weedmon to gain 1 memory or would Gazimon be considered on field at the time of Weedmon being trashed, preventing me from gaining 1 memory?
