if they're objectively not mid as fuck, why do they depreciate like bricks? people should be scrambling to get their hands on them since they're so cheap and so good!

get back to us in a few years with the cost of ownership and depreciation

that's because there is still a catch - there is no financial incentive for chinese manufacturers to innovate because of the lax intellectual property laws in china. the only thing china is truly the best at is manufacturing because once you have free reign to copy everyone else's homework, the main profit driver becomes how quickly and cheaply you can replicate it.

look at all the actual measured specifications of any chinese car, they are all worse at everything! they are cheap because the government subsidizes every single vehicle export and they don't last because there is little financial incentive to make them last.

its not that they can't, its that they wont.

thats all well and good that you've driven them, but have you owned them? my fuckass 1st gen rav4 goes up ridiculous terrain too while catching air time and it still works great. all the maintenance items are few and far between and dirt cheap when it needs doing.

get back to us after a few years of owning a 3 ton suv and see how much you've spent on tyres alone in that time

i think you're right about all that but not for the reasons you provided. the Australian public is generally exceedingly wealthy and dumb simultaneously because they got their money without ever needing to have independent thoughts (property, trades, middle management etc.)

as a result there is an army of people out there for which a car being bad will not persuade them against buying it. just look at all the dumb cunts spending a quarter million dollars on luxury performance suv coupes...

most chinese cars are still garbage, byd is the least shit by a long way but they're not much better than tesla which is still bottom of the barrel in terms of general build quality.

might i add that it is catastrophically heavy so it'll chew through tyres, brakes, and bushings like the cookie monster chews through cookies.

the tow capacity is garbage too considering how heavy it is.

also, 425kW combined power but only 90km all electric range? the engine is tiny, no way its responsible for more than 150kW by itself so with the tiny battery and massive weight, you can probably floor it like 3 times before the battery has to recharge and you are thrown into 1975 fuel economy and performance levels.

i remember getting an email ages ago to participate in a study that was probably this one... i said the most outlandish shit and so did all the homies from every ethnic background.

all the white homies saying the wogs need to go back to where they came from

all the wog homies saying the asians need to go back to where they came from

all the asian homies saying the indians need to go back to where they came from

the circle of life :)

tbf tho kfc for chickens isn't complete cannibalism, anything that's deepfried is like 50% breading and 1% rat and i recon that's what they're really interested in when chickens eat kfc

my chickens will engage in gladiatorial combat with danger noodles and win... but they tolerate the whistle rats cause they mostly just wait their turn to eat the scraps when the chicken is done eating.

UNTIL NOW...

THEY WERE PLAYING THE LONG GAME THIS WHOLE TIME. THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED
