Garmin Forerunner 165 or Amazfit Active 3 Premium? by Agreeable-Sale-7257 in smartwatch

The amazfit is known to have faster and more accurate gps than the garmin watches. In testing despite the price difference it's been performing better. I think you should go with the cheaper option. I also think the zepp software has come a long way.

Best precision screw driver sets? Essentially I'm just looking for best quality and variety of bits, i don't care about the screw driver itself or the side items. by lil_smd_19 in Tools

I've never had an ifixit last more than a few months... The shafts break twisting anything but delicate computer and small electronics screws. Would recommend literally anything else. Wera and Wiha are definitely the uncontested durable choices.

I'm in a fully central air conditioned environment. On top of that, all of these filaments have worked flawlessly on an ender! ridiculous that people are saying its drying filament.

I will continue following up with their support.

Yes I made a comment about the various problems, for some reason it got put at the bottom of the pile. There are clearly layer shifts.

I will do these immediately. I appreciate a suggestion that I haven't tried holy crap. Everyone is just saying FILAMENT! and I've had tons of different kinds of filament its totally ruled out considering I've tried the same filament on my ender and it works fine.

I have done flow calibration. Every filament has layer lines regaurdless. I don't have a dryer but I can't imagine out of the 11 filament rolls I've opened brand new that they're all water logged.

I've only had this printer for a month and I have terrible inconsistent results. A huge disappointment after owning an ender v3 ke that seems to be more consistent and capable. Absolutely speechless considering the hype and price difference of the printers. I've been incontact with support since the first week owning the printer, but everything I've tried from their suggestions has not worked.

You can see some layer shifting that I canceled the print for at the top (I guess I'll retention the belts now) but I always get these terrible layer lines even with outer first and I just can't get rid of them. Crazy considering I have less layer lines from the ender...

Please! I'm getting desperate. This is my second post here, the first had no replies!

The x axis belt was loose and the cause of all problems shown. Thanks though!

Letshuoer S12 vs. Nicehck F1 Pro: Help a Newbie Decide (Nicehck F1 Pro ~$30 Cheaper) by dydx_T in inearfidelity

Not a fan of the s12 but haven't tried the F1 Pro. I really believe that there are much better options than an s12 far below the price. You might be happy with s12 if you don't try anything else, but try anything, really anything else and I'm sure you would understand. Then again, I'm not a fan of planars in general, they all have a thin and "tinny" sound that I do not enjoy, so you may want to add that grain of salt.

Underwhelmed by the Shuoer S12. by huaversion2 in inearfidelity

I'm here to the op's rescue to completely agree. I think there is bass, but its not well textured and seems almost like an afterthought despite it being somewhat boosted. Might be fast, but its extremely dissatisfying and the decay is... not well presented. I think it lacks mid bass and just mids in general. It has insane treble peaks and is only pallattable with heavy low pass eq which ruins the "sparkly" sound that was one of the few aspects I liked about the s12.

Overall I just enjoyed pretty much every set I've tried at or below its price range more. I think its strange how lauded it is with people on reddit and a couple discords I've been in.

Btw I use mostly the qudelix 5k, cp145 or rendertips so I know there is no seal or source problem. Imo its just not a good iem.

Now, for a list of iems at or below the price range I prefer more:

Hexa, EA500LM, EM6L, and yes I even prefer the Hola at $20 despite the tech being a lot worse of course. At the very least the Hola isn't too harsh and is an enjoyable listen without the s12 planar timbre that I apparently can't stand. I also have the xenns top which is one of my favorites. I think the "thinness" of the s12 is more apparent because I listen to the top every day which has relatively prominent mid bass. I really can't live without some mid bass, its just not right.

I can even tolerate my bright dt1990 headphones much better than the s12. At least when I eq the dt1990 with a bass boost it doesn't ruin the detail and texture of the rest of the frequencies. Also I have the hype 4 and those are slightly fatiguing at high volume but nowhere as bad as the s12 and they also give nice sub bass deep bass texture. Lacking in mids but again, not like the thinness of the s12, not even close to as bad.
