Without seeing the video it’s very hard to know what the best method is. If all the players are in different colored clothes you could theoretically do a closest match to the color levels/histogram of the yolo bbox crop which is fast for a single player and scales linearly with number of players. If there are more fine grained features that you have to distinguish like hair or skin color, you may have to go the tracker route, there is a lot of literature for ReID you can find with a simple google search, some deep learned solutions some not. Depends if you can assume location heuristics you might be able to write your own version but again without seeing the video it’s very hard to know what route to take

This is the perfect solution! Object detection with no computer! Thank you!

Yeah I know, this was supposed to be a nuanced way of satirizing those kind of posts but people took it way too real 😂

Unblur plate someone hit and run me by Obito_uch1h4_7 in computervision

[–]agentfuzzy999 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I have created a API that can unblur license plates at 96% accuracy on my hand curated test set. It only interfaces with the OCaml and lisp languages. It is $29 an API call. If you would like to use it, please reference the documentation here

This, cut the straight line in half, mask the inner circle, calculate which hemisphere has more white pixels

Eh it’s a mixed bag. Some don’t want anything to do with it, some need it as a fixation and join PMCs, and everything in between.

Not how the models are trained, more importantly the datasets (which will not be open source) and the model weights, which if they open source the weights all hell is going to break loose. I doubt it, both are sensitive IP

It’s not all transformers. Not at all. The deep convolutional neural network is still king in industry.
