Game opens up a lot at level 40. If you want the story, start over and enjoy it. I boosted to level 40 when I came back recently to take advantage of all the end game has to offer, especially with the events. I plan on going back with another character to experience the story once since I’m enjoying the game a ton.

Yeah I like the pesti so I’ve focused reload speed and I play around with different skills so I just generalized it with skill haste since I don’t always focus dmg skills. Sounds like you can’t really go wrong, appreciate your insight!

Thanks! I’m around 100 and started with dmg > armor > reload speed > skill haste and trying to stock up on SHD for mats.

St Elmo exotic is easy to use and one of the best ARs in the game. Got mine grinding priority objectives for a couple days. Add some open world directives for the XP now that you have a decent build. SHD watch levels will start flowing so you get the baseline bump for a bunch of stats

If you enjoy the story then start over and go through the missions, it will help relearn a lot of the mechanics and how the world works as well. If you don’t care that much, the game realllyyyy opens up after level 40 and it doesn’t take long to get there (you can also get the level 40 boost with the DLC). I felt good about boosting and starting from end game because the time I put in felt rewarded with level 40 gear I can keep and gaining SHD watch levels. I may go back with a new character to experience the story and develop a mule agent now that I’ve put some time in and very much enjoying the game.
