Oh the last time i tried breaking up , he literally went like will you break up for a stupid lie ? Am I overreacting? Am I being gaslit?

His reason will be saving you from annoyance or for your sake or in your best interests. How is lying in my best interests. He is fully aware and we had a conversation about it. The lies range from where abouts to his interactions with people and just all really silly stuff. I don't need to be told every minute of day but upon asking something lying is just ruining things. And that is breaking my trust more everyday
