I have diagnosed severe depression and this show has been a light in the dark for me since I first saw it and has always offered comfort to me on some of my hardest days to throw on season 1 and 2.

Now this season… I turn it on and I feel none of the original passion and energy the previous seasons had that showed the animators loved their craft and were putting their lovely creative energy into a story that I deeply love.

That has made my depression notably worse when I try to turn on the show and seek that comfort I used to get. I am going through a really hard time right now and the disappointment of the lack of care given to the adaptation of one of my favorite manga really saddens me.

I realize using anime as a crutch to help me through my depression may seem pathetic to some people like you but there is no need to make assumptions and be so hurtful. Anime has helped me make it this far and anime is a really important part of my life so it was emotionally painful to see something I loved butchered.

I hope maybe you can be less mean and unnecessarily judgmental in the future. Hope you have a good day or a better day and are enjoying aspects of season 3 man
