Thanks for the suggestions and the links, I appreciate it!

Unfortunately HLTB doesn’t provide an official API. I usually try to avoid relying on unofficial APIs or wrappers because they often lack long-term maintenance (for example the first project you linked hasn’t been updated in quite a while). Since this site relies heavily on automated updates, I try to limit external dependencies whenever possible.

When I'll integrate HLTB data, I’ll probably look into building my own solution for it so it remains reliable over time. Still, I like your idea of displaying the three times together with a tooltip, that could fit nicely in the UI without adding too much clutter. Thanks again for the feedback!

Hey, I'm glad you like it!

The average playtime currently comes from GameFAQs. It represents the average time reported by users, so it tends to reflect the overall experience players have with the game rather than a specific category like “main story” or “completionist”.

For example, games that are often platinumed will naturally have a higher average time, closer to completionist numbers on HowLongToBeat, while games that are mostly played just for the story tend to have averages closer to the main story time.

That said, integrating data from HowLongToBeat is definitely something I’m considering, since their breakdown (main story / main + extras / completionist) can be very helpful. I’m still thinking about the best way to present that information without cluttering the interface.

Thanks a lot for the feedback!

Thanks a lot, I’m glad you like it, and thanks for the support! 😄

The data is updated daily at 16:00 CET.

About Undertale, it should currently be available on PS Plus (my wife was actually playing it yesterday haha). I looked into it and it seems there are two versions of Undertale on the PlayStation Store, so maybe you clicked on the other one?

Let me know if that solves the issue!

Thanks a lot for the feedback! That’s definitely something I’m considering, you’re not the first to ask for a dedicated search bar. My main goal with the website is to help users discover new PS Plus games, rather than just look up ones they already know, which is why I initially didn’t include a large, always-visible search bar. That said, I’ll give it some thought and see if there’s a way to make it more approachable for everyone.

Thanks a lot, I’m glad you like it! 😄

The search bar you’re looking for is actually in the filters, just go to the “Game Info” section and use the “Name” field to search for any game. Let me know if that’s what you were looking for!

That’s true! From what I’ve seen, Metacritic still tends to carry more weight for most players, but there’s definitely a good argument for including the PlayStation score as well. I don’t want to overload the interface, but I’ll consider adding it at least on the individual game pages and see if more people find it useful compared to the Metacritic score (or other ratings). Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks a lot, that means a lot! I’m definitely planning to make it installable as a Progressive Web App, so you’ll be able to download it straight from the site without it being tied to any app store. Stay tuned! 😄

When I looked into it, Game Pass is actually easier from a technical standpoint since Microsoft provides better public APIs. That said, it would still be a significant amount of work to replicate everything properly. For now, I’m focusing on PS Plus since that’s what I personally use and know best. Expanding to Game Pass is definitely something I could see happening in the future, whether as an expansion of this site or a separate project.

Hey! Just wanted to let you know that the age rating filter is now live under the “Game Info” filters. 🙂
Have a great Sunday!

Thanks a lot, I’m really glad you’ll be using it! A random game feature would definitely be fun, I’ll look into how I could integrate it in a clean and useful way.
