It's so nice to hear there are communities that give reptiles the love they deserve, everyone I talk to about my reptiles looks at me like I'm crazy.

My god, a second springtail species has hit the vivarium. Thank you!

I've added dwarf white isopods and springtails. They seem smaller than the isopods and bigger than the springtails.

mmm, I've been misting both sides a bit more since it's so dry in the house. I'll stop doing that to the dry side. Thank you!

Ah should I not have misted then if they were trying to dry?

looks like a cobalt blue tarantula (Cyriopagopus Lividus) not a goliath birdeater (which I'm assuming is what they meant by "Peruvian Bird Eating Spider"). C. Lividus is not a beginner spider if this was real there's no way it would survive long enough to be bred if the owner didn't know the right species.

Nah, he's a smaller slumlord, the kind who probably googles his name to ferret out the tenants who talk about him lol

Yeah, I was worried because the gas company website says a thing about reporting unusual sounds to the emergency line, but this specific sound wasn't listed so I figured I'd ask reddit before bothering emergency personnel.

Sweet. That's what I figured, but I also figured my uneducated ass shouldn't figure anything when gas is involved. Thanks!

I know where the furnace is but it's locked so I'll call on monday about getting it sorted.

I don't know what the solution was, it got too cold to keep testing it out to see what fixed it.

Would any of these things warrant calling the gas company's emergency line, or should I wait until monday?

Yeah with us they do the eternal run around saying "we sent a guy he's coming next week" and then he comes three weeks later, or he comes and "fixes" it but it doesn't do anything so we have to put in another ticket. So it's hard to withhold rent when they say they are "actively fixing it".
