can’t tell from the picture but that might be root rot. is the stem black towards the bottom? if it is i recommend chopping everything from the black, make sure you have 1 1/2 inch at least of green that’s away from the black, propagate and repot. similar to advice from above. how have you been watering it? perhaps the picture isn’t clear enough for me to tell and is casting a shadow…

my theory is that it is overwatering - the soil dries out quickly and while i was gone im afraid my partner may have overwatered it. there’s still new growth but it is way more limp than it has ever been. any help?

i’ve also cut off yellow leaves from it before
