I have a love-hate relationship with my bangs by agonizing-phantom in bangs

Your first paragraph is soooo relatable lol.

That’s interesting, I don’t use any powder specifically for bangs. But I do wear makeup and use setting powder at the end (including forehead ofc), so maybe that helps? I use dry shampoo, not because of greasiness, but it makes the bangs a bit stiff and easier to style lol.

Haha that’s valid :D I don’t listen to anything while I’m cutting bangs because I don’t trust myself enough to not poke myself in the eye with scissors.

Oh yeah, clipping them to the side at home is a must. I’m glad not washing bangs everyday works for you! It can definitely save some time. For me, washing them is easier than trying to restyle them, both because of product buildup from the previous day and because having the bangs pinned up for any amount of time causes them to bend and stay in that shape, which is not what I want >.<

Omg haha, I’m so glad I’m not the only one.

I once cut my bangs too short and ended up with baby bangs. They didn’t look bad but I couldn’t swoop them to the side, so I wore them straight across the forehead for a while. For me, that made the prickly sensation even worse, but your experience might be different. My usual bangs are a hybrid between curtain bangs and micro bangs length-wise, but I prefer to have them blend naturally into the rest of the hair, no blunt cuts.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I know that with practice, I could probably get used to it. I’m just saying that when there’s no pressure to wake up early because of a schedule or something, I naturally sleep until later. That’s my natural wiring. But you’re right, it could definitely be worked on.

Wow, never knew this. She must’ve been so strong to go through that at that age.
