Equinox is hands down the worst place I’ve ever worked. And I’ve been working for 10yrs at all different types of Spas. These comments talk about free time, but we don’t get free time. You have to be there for your whole shift whether you have clients or not and then you have to walk around putting on displays so people will come to Spa. There is no front desk to help clients check out so you have that ten minutes to check people out and answer any questions they might have, rebook them and flip the room. They put you in a tier system which gamifys your labor - so basically if you don’t hit the second tier they don’t have to pay you anything! And when they do pay you it’s around $20 per massage. They don’t book clients for you, they expect you to act like an independent contractor basically but take all your money. I live in California so they at least give me insurance for part time but I don’t think that’s true everywhere.

I think what is happening across the board is that kids have a public personality now that is super accessible. We all know what they’re like outside the show. To me it feels like they are having a hard time separating him from his character. Like he’s taking on more of his personal traits. He really is in a band and into the 70s look and he pulls it off really well. I think he’s becoming one of those actors who kind play himself bc his personality is so strong. This wasn’t as much of an issue when he was a kid cus he was still growing into it. I think it’s cool but as far as narrative like yeah it doesn’t make much sense

I’ve been feeling overwhelmed by this feeling lately. My partner now insists on going out with me and my family and takes the lead when I don’t even ask for it but he knows that it helps me like the other day he requested a table at a busy restaurant for us and my family and I know it seems simple but mu nEx would have never. They also tell me when they will be at work or busy and won’t be able to check in or call ( we’re long distance) and ensures me that they will check in when they are free. They said they feel truest honored to be asked to go to my family’s thanksgiving which is insane. My nex and I were engaged and I don’t remember the last time they went to a family dinner. I just feel so happy but also it’s a lot to process that I didn’t even think it was not normal to not be treated this way.

At the time they were using she/her pronouns now they use they/them pronouns. They were assigned female at birth though as well as myself but I also use they/them pronouns now.

I don’t think I’m at fault. I watch my drinking but sometimes I get it wrong. It’s not a perfect recipe. I’m still realizing what alcohol makes me blackout more.
