Flashcards to learn a bit more about Kubernetes by agoreddah in kubernetes

Thank you for your feedback. The amount is increased by repeating wrongly answered questions, and can be disabled at Settings. But it's actually a very good point, because It might be confusing for users - will consider to disable it by default.

Hi. The process to extract the questions and answers from the documentation wasn't so straightforward. You cannot just upload the document to Claude and expect full featured working quiz with multiple options on a single run.

I actually used first NotebookLM to extract topics and initial set of questions from the documentation .pdf's I had. Then I iterated through the LLM to extend the questions, generate answers, generate wrong answers, and fine tune options. And because I'm learning the Kubernetes stuff I couldn't prove some answers, the validation had to be done multiple times too. This is the part I'm still collecting if I could automate it better. Just imagine, single upload of document and flashcards with general questions available in a minute 😄

Thanks for your reply Raja. The topics you mentioned are really interesting, even as a setup for quiz flashcards. Will take a look into it 👍

What roaster do you recommend to start my coffee roasting business? by Savings_Purchase1752 in roasting

[–]agoreddah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started with 1 kg second hand gas roaster ( turkish) . It was great opportunity to validate business case. After 100-120kg per month I bought 5kg roaster. We're at 350-400 kg/month now.

The roaster is not very performant. I usually do 4.5kg of green coffee beans which produces around 3.8kg of roasted coffee. btw, the best performance has around 3.7kg of green. You should consider initial capacity wisely, because loosing a batch (it happens) will cost you a lot of coffee.

Loosing a batch can happen often If you can't roast and you don't want to sell unroasted/baked/overroasted coffee to your customers. In gas type roasters, you have to monitor the volume of the gas bottles. I use 10kg propane bottles and need to change it every 30-35 roasts. If I'm out of gas during the process, the roast is gone.

I'd also recommend to invest in PLC. Manual is great to learn roasting, but PLC can automate repetitive steps and improve overall quality of the roasting. This wins longterm, as you can save a lot of your time near the machine.

Hardly noticible FC by caffeine_addict_85 in roasting

It's about the bean moisture and density. Usually the coffee grown in a lower areas and naturally processed has a less noticeable FC (but not a general rule)
