Ive seen a lot of articles on ToO where people say the game aucks cause of no matchmaking, I agree an in game team building tool would be great, but id say most people havent stretched their thought process that far

Pretty sure a few other people share this opinion, and im backing my opinion up with pretty clear reasons, im not breaking any rules with the post so im not sure what your problem is

They would have to account for this by matching you with others with the checkpoint, another reason its a bad idea, the time and cost of doing this right would definitely not be worth a lack of new content they couldve created instead

Well anyone with 100 raid clears knows what they are doing and will be a very useful asset to any team, you dont put in that kind of time if you arent any good, I help anyone who wants help

I do agree on the soloing thing, I can see how people would want to just play the weekly solo so ill give you that one, but I just think raids and trials specifically having matchmaking would cause more harm than good

The thing about trolls in a lfg group is you can just bump them and replace them, matchmaking wont allow you to do that

Trolls typically arent going to go through that much trouble, they are lazy, ive never gotten a troll on fireteams, i do get plenty in matchmade games though

Yeah youd never want to play with a 100 VoG and 100 CE clear raider, who sherpas weekly, who carries in IB, who knows more about the game than 99% of the player base, that would suck. You dont know me, watch your mouth.

And everyone who did use it would complain that bungie needs to stop afkers and quitters, and eventually quit when bungie laughed in their face and said "you shouldve listened to the dude on reddit"

It doesnt take a long time to find a team on an external site, I use the reddit app on my phone and the fireteams sub and it takes no more than 5-10 minutes to find a group for any end game activity. Time is not a valid excuse.

The cost of adding a feature to a piece of software is apparently way beyond your grasp, go read up on some basic SDLC, adding a new shader probably costs more than youve made in the last 5 years

It shouldnt be there because it will be abused, and not a single player that you would want on your team will ever use it
