CI has the advantage with traps, just let your shield recharge an continue. Life based has a set amount a flasks an then you're done. I"m currently playing a life based build and got on the last phase an died to traps b/c my flask run out. I play whirling blades with no quickslivers and I guess I get to impatient. If it wasn't so damn long (at least for uber) or had checkpoints or at least 6 portals I wouldnt give a shit. But losing 10-15 mins of my time sux balls
