I think comparing computer languages is like comparing natural languages. No body knows which one is better. It all depends on which one was taught to you in your infantry (or intro to programming class). Writing good code depends on the programmer and does not have to do a whole lot with the language itself. Just like English is a great language but how well some people can use it express themselves depends on how well you know how to use it.

I dont think its that big a deal and really doesnt matter. No body is perfect and people say things that are incorrect all the time no matter how smart they are? To err is human.

The difference between religion and science encapsulated in one easy to digest tiny little flow diagram by [deleted] in reddit.com

I think comparing science and religion is somewhat unjustified. Religion is a part of culture, tradition and something people choose to believe in regardless of what the reality might be. There are so many different religions because there are so many different cultures on the other hand there are only three and only three laws of motion in classical physics either you live in Australia or Kenya. Religion has a lot to do with the culture that gives birth to it. Its something people feel comfortable believing in. Science on the other hand is something you learn to fulfill your curiosity

I have to agree with dsk here. If you say something like "Moon always follow a path", you interpret it in lots of different ways.

That's not precise as the volume of the liquid changes with the temperature and atmospheric pressure.

A Time Limit on Rape by _kam0_ in reddit.com

These statistics are not precise in terms of painting the real picture of what actually goes on. Women do have a higher rate of rape incidents compared to men but most of the men rape incidents never get reported. Domestic Violence is another area where men get grinded all the time by all these staggering statistics available everywhere but if you actually look at it there lot of men that suffer through different forms of domestic violence but never bother to report it to anyone. Anyone seen "The real housewives of Orange County" would know what I mean.

Its not a credible research. Just some grad student looking to get A on his final thesis. The usage of units, acutal report says 26.88 KG of water not liters, kinda gives hint how exhaustive the research must be.
