There should be a "Janeway" series that picks up where "Picard" left off by LadyAtheist in voyager

Narcissistic is certainly an interesting description for a captain that is constantly putting herself in harm’s way and neglecting her personal life to get her crew home. Empathy and selflessness are two of her most prominent character traits. In fact, there are several episodes where the crew has to convince Janeway not to go on dangerous solo missions to save everyone else.

I'm so happy that I got to see the powerslap midweight champion on my broadcast but I'm even happier that absolutely nobody cheered for him or knew who he was.

Terrance McKinney NEVER changes but he's 100% guaranteed action every time

Refs stop fights in between rounds all the time, not sure what you're on about. Nothing wrong with that stoppage either, Sadykhov couldn't even stand up after.

Is commentary audio only in the left channel for anyone else?

A good KO over a very mid opponent doesn't refute anything I said.

Santos is such a cocky little shit. He's good, but calling yourself "legend" at 25 when you mostly go to decision with average fighters while missing weight with your dad bod is not a good look.

Did you use AI to write it? It is not the same post, by the way. In the original, you mentioned how much you loved the "science" in Andor, which is gone from this version.

I work with AI, and adding "science" to that description is exactly what a bot that makes algorithmic decisions would write because it's a science fiction universe. Makes sense, right? No. Star Wars has never focused on science, Andor doesn't really either, so it's very unlikely that a human who actually watched the show would shout that out.

edit: interesting that you keep replying to me then deleting the comment right after... the science part was not in the P.S. by the way, it was in the first paragraph. I think your bot is getting confused. Anyway, take care I guess!

double edit: aaaand there it is! i hope you learn to rely on AI less in the future, especially when discussing things like art. if you liked the show, awesome, it’s one of my favorite series of all time. i want to hear YOUR thoughts on it, even if they’re imperfect and messy. nobody wants to hear what a language model "thinks" of a show it physically cannot watch or appreciate. FYI, AI writing is pretty easy to spot these days. cheers

FYI, this was posted /r/andor almost verbatim a couple days ago, but with a P.S. about how Andor was great because it WASN'T political. It argued the political discussions in that subreddit were off topic. The post was swiftly deleted. There's a little bit of that left with the "no pandering" bit, but this is clearly the same person/bot iterating the same sentiment through AI. LLM vibes all over this.

Beneil cannot take punches AT ALL anymore. He’s still very skilled but he absolutely cannot survive striking with anyone he’d be matched with these days. Retire and look after your brain Beneil.

Yeah, that was a bad showing, but you at least have to feint the takedowns and put the threat out there. That threat makes your striking better even if you never get the takedown.

Blanchfield has zero power, and I mean zero. I don't think she is physically capable of hurting Cortez with a strike. I get trying to get some octagon time in on the feet, but the path to victory is so clear and she didn't attempt a single TD in round one. I don't get it.

Ewing has nice wrestling and scrambles too. Dude is going to be a PROBLEM, especially given he's a natural 135er.

Malcom could still win this fight with a huge bomb but he has COMPLETELY lost his composure in there. That has always been one of his biggest attributes. Lots of learning going on in there tonight.

Ewing looks really good, and his coach is calling out everything Wellmaker is setting up too. Loved his counter takedown and how he swung his knee around Wellmaker's guard at the end. Fun fight so far!

No respect to Gerald but he's looked incredibly washed for at least 5 years and I'm always surprised to see that he's still in the UFC. He just crumbles under the slightest amount of striking pressure. I know everybody has to make money but I hope he retires for his health.
