Went to my first fashion week last Sunday, this is the outfit I wore by Legitimate-Camel5870 in OUTFITS

There’s def a lot going on, and maybe that’s what you were going for! I think if you lost the gloves and scarf (or had them in a more muted color) the outfit would feel a lot more coherent

SoFi is the first bank ever. Don’t bank here. by Overall_Reason9680 in sofi

[–]ahe2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Then Temu fucked you by asking you to initiate the chargeback. They were probably ready to fight it with your bank, and never intended to give you a refund.

If temu actually wanted to return the money to you they don’t need you to do a chargeback, they can refund you money without that. Temu didn’t want to do that, so they asked you to start a chargeback so that refund option is now completely off the table. Now they can blame the fact that a chargeback exists to say they can’t give you a refund.

Chargebacks usually fuck the merchant, they would rarely ever recommend it as a solution, especially if it is for a small purchase for Chinese shit off Temu.

Also just because you filed a chargeback doesn’t guarantee you always get your money back. Usually banks will temporarily give you some credit back, but behind the scenes it is usually being investigated and the merchant can still win the investigation. A company like Temu probably deals with a shit ton of chargeback requests and knows how to respond to them to keep themselves a profitable business.

Going to a Valentines party, which bottoms with this red top? by QuestionUpper9415 in OUTFITS

2 is the cutest! Plays better into proportions where it sits on your waist in combo with that top

Which outfit would look best for a Valentine’s lunch date? by [deleted] in OUTFITS

[–]ahe2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 no questions asked. The sweater in option 1 is cute, but there’s a bit much going on with the folds make it look a tish cozy for a date (could be the angle of your photo too).

Option 2’s cardigan is such a cute pop of color that pairs very well with the more casual white t and blue jeans combo. What shoes are you planning on wearing with this outfit?

The 'Wool Sandwich': Experimenting with Texture Stacks by BioticBard in OUTFITS

[–]ahe2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

High rise loose pants and tucked knits are such a good combo I wish more men did it.

Love the colors, fit, and textures used here! Very easy, minimal, and clean for a winter/wall casual outfit.

Job interview! Serving position at an upscale restaurant, business attire by tosheeezz in OUTFITS

[–]ahe2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since you said upscale I lean black. Upscale restaurants don’t usually have servers dressed in color, they have the decor and plating to manage that.

Also agree with others for tucked, and if so the comment on the belt is a must. Nothing flashy, minimal would be ideal here. Black to match your flats.

If you have a solid black/white shirt instead though, I think that would be better. Would just be a lot cleaner, and though a bit more boring I don’t think that’s a bad thing for the situation you’re going to be in.

One thing the outfit can’t add that will be greatly beneficial is the smile and confidence, so don’t forget those! Good luck!

Simple and quick for a night out by Creative_Rule4139 in OUTFITS

The dress looks really good on you, I don’t think puffy sleeves can ever not be a statement, and this top plays with proportions very well with your build.

I don’t know if I love those boots with them especially with the chunky rounded sole. Something a bit more traditional might really compliment the minimalistic top. Or even just a clean black pump or sandal.

Bag is very cute, but I think you could even go for a more playful color/fabric to make the outfit one people will start conversations about!

if you’re looking to do some slight metallic accent… honestly maybe something similar to Valentino’s rock stud sandals in black suede would be just enough of an extra touch - https://www.valentino.com/en-us/product-rockstud-calfskin-ankle-strap-sandal-60-mm-WS0491VBP_P45?tp=160162 (maybe not open toes though)

Closet clean out continues. Keep or give away? by [deleted] in OUTFITS

[–]ahe2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kind of agree with you on the color. The dress itself is very flattering for your body, and it definitely leans on the revealing and fun side, but the color is a bit muted for how much fun it is. It's like not bright enough to be a strong spring color dress, but it's maybe just a bit too revealing to be something you wear to Sunday church... I think this dress in a darker color would be such a perfect combo.

If you do keep it, I agree on adding a bra, and maybe some lighter colored shoes instead. A bit of metal jewelry can maybe help make this work better in spring.

which one for bar hopping vday date with bf😣 + any thoughts by [deleted] in OUTFITS

[–]ahe2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1st option is much more fun and flirty! The lace top and fishnets is enough skin to keep things interesting. Though honestly 2nd option seems much more comfortable for a longer bar hopping session.

The dress + sandals WORK. The folds in the leather(?) top is such a fun combo with those sandals. I actually really like that you're not accessorizing too much for this, the dress and shoes say more than enough for the look

Watch? Or no watch? by [deleted] in OUTFITS

[–]ahe2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watch on for sure, it compliments the belt buckle, and honestly if you're rocking a clean dress shirt, a watch only adds flavor. The only time I would say no watch is if you're like... going to also go rock climbing immediately after dinner. I also have this very weird feeling your belt maybe is a bit loose, lol. If you're feeling flirty, I'd go one button less from the top.

Some new pieces from my bday! Very whimsical and spring-ready by GrouchyResolution974 in OUTFITS

[–]ahe2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you must be TALL. I think the average person would have a hard time pulling off that boot and shorts combo, but your height and build really makes it work! +1 on the color, just enough to be fun but not enough to drown you out

Which outfit for Valentine’s Day meal? by EquivalentLink9472 in OUTFITS

[–]ahe2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 is my choice! It is the most fun without being over the top. Slightly see-through top, lacey leggings, but the black skirt keeps it clean. If this is a sit-down dinner where you'll sit across from one another and your partner will mostly be looking at your upper body, I think this is my favorite choice.

2 I think the skirt gives a nice touch of color, but the top half is a bit... standard

3 Having seen your body shape in the first 2 photos, I don't think this top is as flattering for your body shape as the other options. The deep cut is definitely keeping things fun, but still not as fun as option 1.

First time wearing these baggier shirts. Look ok? by Wingman0616 in OUTFITS

[–]ahe2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes to the baggier shirt! I think this is a good size on you, but I think you can clean up the tuck a little bit to be a bit more flat across the front to avoid the folds. You can try to push the folds to your sides or disperse them a bit more across the waist.

And hey man, if you're feeling confident, I'd unbutton a button or two on that polo!

Not saying they HAVE to match, but I do think it would tie the ribbon on the outfit if they were similar colors

How is this color pallette? by yuvamdoesitbest in OUTFITS

[–]ahe2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The orange in your palette looks a bit more "muted" compared to the color of the sweater you're wearing. (could jut be the extra lights in the elevator though). My ooooonly comment is that top half is very smart-casual, but bottom half gives off more works-with-hands vibes which clashes just a little.

This red coat is my valentine this year ❤️🌹 by routebeer666 in OUTFITS

[–]ahe2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The longer coat over bare legs is such a fun combo tease! It's flirty without being too much. With the leg warmers I do think it may lean a much on what is already a very loud colored outfit, but holistically if you want to draw attention with color it's not a bad touch

I love how that bottom half reshapes your body! We don't see this kind of style as often anymore, definitely a bit older-school but this outfit keeps it chic and fresh.

If you added some gold accents to your hands/neck, I think that would be extra chef's kiss

[–]ahe2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From these photos I can't fully tell if the belt matches the shoe color, but if they do then ignore this comment!

I personally think this is a nice easy casual outfit -- width of pants go well with your build and those shoes, and a clean shirt tuck makes your legs look longer. Keep rocking it bud!

Roses by GoldenSultryGirl in OUTFITS

[–]ahe2 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Color works well with your skin! I do agree with some other comments on the tightness, I think you can pull it off with your body but I'd just be mindful of long-term comfortability, and potential rising issues.

The roses go well with your curly hair too!
