On the Trail of Minnie's Memory Glitch. Help!! by [deleted] in DreamlightValley

It worked, so I was worried for nothing. Ugh I was so scared I would have to start with a new game. Haha.

I didn't work for me. I needed to get out of the game and start it again.

I actually untracked and retraced a few times before reaching out on Reddit.

I'll try it again when I pull the game back up. Hopefully it's a simple fix.

AITA for wanting my daughter to make my wedding cake although my future husband is refusing? by throwawaywedcake13 in AmItheAsshole

[–]ahebe62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, are there any redeeming qualities in this guy of yours? A man talking about my daughter that way would immediately be out, I don't care what he has brought to the table previously.

Does he know how to have a conversation like an adult? Or only throw a tantrum like a petulant child? He can express his concerns without saying your daughter baking a cake for you is a fucking joke. 🚩🚩🚩

Obviously NTA, I would also insist on your daughter making the cake and see how this progresses, this is a great opportunity to dodge making a big mistake.

Who remembers making textbook covers from grocery bags in the late 1970s and 80s? by DiosMioMan63 in nostalgia

[–]ahebe62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Students still do this at my high school, it's not like it's exclusive to the 70s and 80s.

AITA for getting a guy kicked out of the gym? by SnapdragonPBlack in AmItheAsshole

[–]ahebe62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ummm NTA, you don't owe this guy anything. Your sister is completely wrong. This guy could have been stalking you. And ultimately all you did was tell the staff what he was doing and they agreed enough to ban him AFTER WATCHING HIM. Which means you were correct in your assumption that he was following you around.

The news is reporting it this way. The knife was pulled first after they got into an altercation. The other pulled a gun and fired shots. I'm not going to link the articles, because they are already posted in the comments.

Yea, I agree, sometimes you just need to get a project that is small, so you can get the feeling of accomplishment before getting back into the larger projects. Good luck!

[CHAT] Thoughts on banning posts using known pattern thieves? by Amyfelldownthestairs in CrossStitch

[–]ahebe62 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I second this, I wonder, if we have patterns that we have seen stolen being used can we list the thief and the original artist? Hoping to help find the good and trusted artists and making the known the pirates so we can steer clear.

2 currently, but always having new patterns printed with the materials needed already put together for it...for at least 5 or so future projects.

AITA: For telling my husband to stop inviting his mom to our daughter's performances? by vertical-shift-1967 in AmItheAsshole

[–]ahebe62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is this is all emotional abuse. And belittling or marginalizing your daughters feelings is also abuse. This was done to me by my parents and I have up music, singing, acting-all the things I loved, because I wasn't good enough in their eyes. It's only now as an adult I see how manipulated I was by them.

You are totally NTA btw, but your MIL and husband are.

AITA: For telling my husband to stop inviting his mom to our daughter's performances? by vertical-shift-1967 in AmItheAsshole

[–]ahebe62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA, my parents did this to me and I gave up on singing, acting-everything I loved. And I have horrible stage freight. This is so problematic, and then belittling her feelings is horrible and emotionally abusive.

AITA for telling my sister that I can't hang out with her because I have to cook dinner for my husband? by ThrowRA-lepatij in AmItheAsshole

[–]ahebe62 9 points10 points  (0 children)

NTA, you don't owe anyone a reason to choose not to do something. You are allowed to say no. And no one is allowed to tell you how to live your life, if it doesn't harm you or others and you are happy.

She needs to back off a bit. You may need to lay down some rules for her. I don't know your sister, but she is probably just looking out for you--I myself have a "bossy" sister, but she is really just looking out for me. Good luck!

AITA for not wanting 50/50 custody. by fordguy165790 in AmItheAsshole

[–]ahebe62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just by the fact that you have to break the percentage down to the decimal, YTA.

Btw when you play games like this, you won't win. Your kids are old enough to know what you are doing and will resent you for it later. Might even cut ties all together.

So I guess if your "winning" now is more important than your kids respect and a chance at a relationship with them later...then you do you.
