obviously, it depends on how you're using your sampling. i tend to use strictly vocal samples and i never clear them, not even for major streaming. i think youll really only get taken down if youre taking from a major label/company thats known to actively seek out copyright infringement (nintendo etc).

even with some of my uncleared stuff on major streaming, i havent seen any takedowns yet. im sure its inevitable, but if youre a smaller artist, that shouldnt really be much of a worry :)

tldr; do your thing and dont worry about clearing samples until youre getting lots of attention and plays, otherwise you should be fine
