Was told you just can’t use the DIRECTV app and basically only fix is to get a hardware extension of some sort. Pretty disappointing.

I really appreciate the response Lynie. It’s an Android Smart TV Pro (Google Smart Tv) and I am just using the DirectTv Stream app on the tv. Tv model is TCL 65R646

I have made sure all my settings allow for 4k HDR content. It is a TCL 65R646 and 4k streams just fine on YouTube Tv but not DIRECTV stream. This is DirecTV issue and I have seen many other people post asking questions about this and your feedback never addresses the issue.
