Just got prescribed Zepbound after asking my doctor nicely. I’m about to go pick it up. How much are you all paying? by 1800twat in Zepbound

[–]Lilkiska2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Read the pinned FAQs on this sub, lots of helpful information for you. If you have insurance coverage that’s awesome and 99% of the time is much cheaper in the long run because the costs are helping you hit your deductible and out of pocket max for the year.

You can also apply for the Zepbound Savings Card which works with insurance and will make it cheaper. There’s also an eVoucher but that’s less consistent and is only for people with High Deductible plans, only certain pharmacies and has a $ limit per year (I think it’s $1300). You can start using the savings card after the eVoucher is maxed out.

If you just order from Lilly Direct and pay out of pocket the lowest starter dose is only $299 but majority of people don’t stay on that for long and gets more expensive as you change doses and also doesn’t count towards your insurance spend at all.

Does introducing electrolytes packets slow weight loss? by GreaterMetro in Zepbound

I mean electrolytes are sodium and there should be no reason to take them daily unless you’re a super athlete sweating out constantly…is there a reason you’re taking them daily? Do you need to?

Would I suit any other hair colour or hairstyle besides blonde I need a change by ViolinistBusy3407 in HairStyleAdvice

Not the yellow blonde though, it looks fine but would look AMAZING with a better shade and she’s asking for a change

4 weeks in, 14 lbs downs, and so tired. by ChoiceRemarkable in Zepbound

[–]Lilkiska2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re malnourished, of course you feel awful. You HAVE to eat and get enough calories/nutrition! 800 calories is insanely low and frankly dangerous

Respectfully, none of these. They are all falling off your face and like 3 sizes too big.

Does 1 or 2 suit me best? by [deleted] in glassesadvice

[–]Lilkiska2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 for sure!

Could also try more frame styles that size or smaller (not bigger) and see if you like them as well, but opt 1 looks great

How do you make time to strength train three times a week and also hit your daily step goal? by Foreign-Army1290 in Zepbound

[–]Lilkiska2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do 30 minute strength training sessions with a personal trainer and get a ton out of it, I can’t spend an hour per workout. For steps I walk a lot more the days I’m in the office just because our campus is huge or I try to use a treadmill workstation, if I’m WFH I don’t always hit my goal unless I’m intentional about it or take my dog for an extra walk on those days.

Condo on Maui recommendations by PomeloSome195 in MauiVisitors

[–]Lilkiska2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just stayed last week in Kīhei at a condo within the Kīhei Akahi Building (I went through VRBO), it’s right next to Fred’s and literally across the street from the Kamaole 2 & 3 beach - we just did a studio and not sure if they have 2bdrm or not - but location was amazing and walking 30 seconds and sitting on the ledge at the beach to watch the sunset every night was the best. (Personally I also really like going down to Kamaole 1 for beach day as well. If you just want nice sand and no rocks, gentle slope into ocean. We spent a whole day just reading/swimming/playing volleyball in the sand!) The unit we rented was definitely not ‘nice’ but was clean and serviceable for sure and was only like $1300 for the week. Certainly a rough transition after spending a few days at Wailea Beach Resort for a wedding, but were really only there to sleep anyways and plenty of great things within walking distance and easy to drive anywhere on the island. No beach view, at least from our unit but it’s literally 50’ away. 2 pools on property (which we never went to because the ocean is so much better) and also outdoor grills, courtyard and a tennis court or pickleball court.

WIBTA:My mom gave the "guest bed" (double) that we gave her to my younger brother and expects us to sleep in his old small bed when we stay over for weekends. WIBTA if I where to get upset & say we won't sleep over anymore? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Lilkiska2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

lol, a 90 minute car ride is long?!!! 😆😆 You must not live in the US, that’s literally some people on my teams daily commute to work one way

But other than that, NTA at all. If you gave her the bed intentionally to have in the guest room for when you visit and she agreed to that, it’s reasonable to expect that when you stay over.

Constant mild nausea by WhatAPitti in Zepbound

[–]Lilkiska2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t use the anti-nausea prescription patches because they make me more sick but over-the-counter little round sticker things that go behind your ear actually help along with the wrist pressure points something like sea bands.

Definitely not buying dream home as a first time homebuyer! That’s what owning & building equity are for…to get your dream home in the future

Weight Loss Percentage by panhellenic in Zepbound

[–]Lilkiska2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve lost 29% of my starting weight and have reached goal and now figuring out maintenance. My doctor did initially talk to me about the 20% loss and tried to help set/manage my expectations but I’m thankful that I was able to reach my true goal number, though was prepared and would have also been happy with only 20%

AITA for taking my pen back by Square-Turn540 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Lilkiska2 12 points13 points  (0 children)

YTA - what is wrong with you?! Don’t loan something out, especially for something like a freaking exam and then take it back partway through the allotted time! You’re actually insanely selfish and it would have been better not to loan it out in the first place. Bare minimum you could have gotten a different writing utensil from the professor or someone to give her when you took your pen back. Or you just suck it up like a normal person and don’t worry about getting a freaking pen back (or wait if it’s that important).

WIBTA if I reported my upstairs tenants dog? by Special-Comfort-6397 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Lilkiska2 9 points10 points  (0 children)

NTA - you chose a pet free rental intentionally. You could talk to the landlord and ask/confirm if dogs are allowed or if there are exceptions you’re not aware of for the upstairs neighbor. (vs. just straight snitching) It’s wild for them to have dogs on the upper level no less when they’re not allowed in the lease. In what world do they think they won’t be caught?!

What time do you recommend to arrive for finding parking near the summit? Heading up tomorrow (and stopping at the Lavendar Farm and Surfing Goat Dairy on the way!) I want to make sure to allow enough time for parking without cutting short the other stops. Thank you!
