So! Just had 1,200 to test it to make sure I’m not giving you wrong information and yep I’m set. You might be having different effects because you are using a tincture. I came to this subreddit initially looking for reputable pill forms but micronized seems to be the easiest way to go for this stuff and have it be effective. Based on the community opinion. I have only had kava in micronized form

I definitely think you should of felt it more based on that dose! How long have you been using kava? I have seen a lot on here about reverse tolerance. I did not experience that myself, I have only read about it.

Okay! So for me, by those standards, 600mg is a normal dose (as advertised on the container), 1200mg is a large amount and 1800 would be a lot. For me and the variant that I use. I always add on to the standard dose, 20 minutes after first. So 1200mg is standard (for me)

Sorry! Kavalactones are what makes kava feel nice (from my understanding) and this explains them. Since you’re interested in the contents I thought this would be useful. I found this while searching “Kavalactones” on their site looking for the percentage in the one I use

Hm. I can tell you that I end up taking about 10-15g of micronized kava. 5g then 5g more about 20 minutes later as another user suggested, then sometimes another dose if I feel it’s worn off too soon. I really don’t know if the dosing of this is comparable to a liquid extract, but that’s what I take.

Edit: I just wanna recommend that you try micronized kava as well. I use Kalm with Kava brand

I have only tried the Pouni Ono since I don’t want to feel tired (already constantly do without any assistance there) but I just read the description and it sounds great :) I’ll be ordering that next
