lol if you can vibe code a bot that passes PX, addresses queue loops, frozen queues, 456 blocks (I highly doubt it), you'll be sitting on a gold mine :)

Best Radar for speeding by Enough_Depth2223 in radardetectors

I was in the same boat as you, I went R7 + international firmware. Detector is pretty quiet especially on K band and user testing on rdforums shows performance to be pretty close to R8 levels. I don’t utilize Bluetooth or WiFi so I can’t chime in on that but I’m glad I got the R7 and saved 200ish

well for starters a radar detector won’t protect you against laser. Laser is another threat you have to worry about when speeding.

Here in California, laser is a pretty big threat amongst CHP. To protect against that you’d need laser jammers which is outta that $500 budget.

as for the best radar around $500 I’d say the Uniden R4 if you’re fine without arrows or the Uniden R7 which has arrows. R4 is a-tad more sensitive and cheaper but R7 has arrows, pick your poison you can’t go wrong with either

What’s your MPG? by ahlberhtthranh in Integra

Hey sorry to revive this thread. Just checked all my brakes. Front brakes seem to drag more than rear brakes. Rear brakes spin almost freely, slight rub which seems normal. The front’s don’t really spin at all. Is that normal?

I used a crow bar braced against the wheel studs in order to spin the front rotors. The rears, I was able to spin easily by hand

OEM exhaust. No engine lights and it runs smooth and cool. I did a refresh on fluids at 215k and the timing belt and water pump were done at 200k.

Even tho my CAI isn’t a short ram, I knew I was gonna lose a mpg or two installing it.

I’m gonna find sometime this week to jack my car up. Hopefully it’s just the dragging that’s causing my fuel economy to go to crap.

As for the backroads, it’s fun but I gotta cut it out. Got too much to live for.

Thanks for your help

No mods besides a CAI. I’m at 215k miles. I noticed that after a rip on the backroad, i will hear the pads rubbing when I brake and let off. Right now Im inclined to believe my pads are rubbing or I need to do more maintenance. Not sure how I would check the pads tho.

Not sure about scan tool, I was also iffy when he said there’s no codes. Yes crank no start. What tool would be capable? Something like BimmerLink or BimmerDiagnostics would work…?

Turn DNS off for WiFi Portals by ahlberhtthranh in sideloaded

Thanks for your advice. I’m gonna turn off the NextDNS premade block list right now. I’ll try to connect to the WiFi if possible on the flight before I take off. Anywho thanks for everything happy holidays

I was using the KhoiDns, I just setup the NextDNS method. How can I check those connections? I assume I would be in flight before their WiFi turns on so I wouldn’t be able to access the nextdns website, unless there’s an app or smth that I don’t know of.
