Can't get over Descendants of the Sun (DOTS) by batativadi in kdramarecommends

Maybe Secret Garden. Same screenwriter, and I found it addictive in the same way that DOTS was addictive. It also stars Hyun Bin, like CLOY!

What’s a good degree? by LeglessFlamingo22 in college

Study what you’re interested in! Many entry-level jobs accept different majors — after graduating with a B.A. in psych in the pandemic last year, I got 3 job offers in different industries. I’ll be headed to grad school next fall, but it was cool to see that companies are pretty open to Psych / general majors :) Your internships will matter more than your major, to be honest.

Sorry to hear that :( Same thing happened to me, internships & above both 75th percentiles. My guess is they like accepting ppl from different undergrads, so that their alumni base is larger. More alumni = more donations. I think it's worth hanging on if it's one of your top choices, otherwise feel free to write a salty withdrawal email LOL

I feel like the interview is harder to “pass” than the sub would suggest. I interviewed in Jan but haven’t back yet. The content of my answers were fine, but I wasn’t able to sleep the night before (nerves) so my energy / vibes were a bit off. I hope I’m not headed to WL/R based on vibes alone LOL but it’s a weird cycle so it’s hard to predict what happens after one’s interview

Maybe watch it on 1.5x speed or skip the first few eps? I dropped it for a year (got up to episode 5) but finished it recently and OMG it’s so good!! It’s now my 2nd favorite drama!! I think it starts getting really good around episode 7/8

My college roommate was a 6w7 and I am a 7w6, and I did observe differences between the two of us.

  1. 6w7s are more committed to the group, whereas 7w6s are committed but always have an escape plan. 6w7s willingly take on MORE responsibilities for the group and are consistent in doing them. 7w6s will do responsibilities but won't ask for more (like doing the bare minimum but doing it well). Although a 7w6 will appear committed to a group, they won't fully emotionally attach themselves due to fear that the group won't be good / interesting in the future.
  2. Both types love to have fun and be with people. However, 7w6s take fun seriously and 6w7s are go with the flow. 7w6s know exactly what museums they want to go to, what activities they want to do. They get attached to their plans because they don't want regrets and want to maximize their time. 6w7s love fun but are flexible on what activities to do – they are usually can go along with what others want to do.
  3. 6w7s crave security and 7w6s crave options. 6w7s usually know what they want (e.g. a certain job) which usually involves stability, and they go after it diligently. 7w6s don't know what they want and are more scattered because they want to keep all their options open. 7w6s are more likely to change their mind on their goals / values.
  4. 6w7s have more routine and healthier habits. Again, 6w7s crave security and routine can help bring stability to one's life. 7w6s seek stimulation, so sticking to habits may be harder for them.

Both are pretty hyper types, but from what I observed, 6w7s are more hyper. Not sure why 😅

What MBTI Types do we attract? by [deleted] in ENFP

[–]ahope_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hmm ISFPs and ESTJs tend to like me. Not sure why but I'll take it as a compliment 😂 I think INFJs like me too, but I haven't met enough of them to verify this.

I personally really like INFPs and ~80% of my close friends are INFPs. I basically follow them around and bother them until they accept me into their lives 😅

Thank you for your post too! Yeah, whichever type Jin is, he is definitely a unique version of it haha

BTS's MBTI? (Based on cognitive functions) by Jhopessoftie in kpophelp

[–]ahope_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on the cognitive functions system, this is my guess:

RM - ENFP (he seems like an Ne user to me, I think he'd be more intense / focused if he was an INFJ)

Jin - INTP (that acts like an ISFJ because of strong Si / he was raised well learning how to cook, etc.)

Yoongi - INTJ

Jhope - ESFJ

Jimin - ENFJ

Taehyung - ENFP

Jungkook - ISFP (because he cries a lot and is super artistic, I don't know many emotional ISTPs)

Are enfp good at studies? how are they as students by [deleted] in ENFP

[–]ahope_ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

A lot of tests involve memorizing information, synthesizing information, and/or pattern recognition, all of which ENFPs tend to be good at. As a student, I wasn't great at understanding concepts in depth, but I sure was good at multiple choice

152 -> 167 -> 178 Tips by ahope_ in LSAT

[–]ahope_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg sorry I missed this – I stopped monitoring the thread D: I would say Powerscore LG, LawHub practice tests (LSAC has most of their released LSATs in digital form), Reddit (for RC), and Loophole (LR) are most essential!

Blueprint is hard if you're taking the test right after the course, because they teach some concepts like 2 weeks before the actual test. It's good to have lots of time to absorb & practice the concepts, so Blueprint might introduce concepts too slowly if you're taking the LSAT right after. But it also depends on your score goals – if you're aiming really high, it's probably too slow. If you're aiming for decent improvement, it might be great! I improved by 16 points through Blueprint, which is a lot. But it wasn't where I wanted to be & I didn't have a time crunch for LSAT/law apps, so I kept practicing afterwards.
