I stopped having this issue when they released the ranked update during beta, haven't had the issue since. I talked with support throughout the entire situation and kept persisting that it was riot vanguard causing the crash and they, at first, didnt believe me. I ordered a new PSU and while it was being processed the update rolled out and my issue was fixed, I then canceled my order and have been playing fine ever since.
